It will never get old. Alcaraz and Sinner still can't touch his genius.

Whenever he faced Murray in an important match, he activated JesusFed mode. He seemed to really enjoy playing him

    Awesome stuff.
Actually not many matches where players are in the zone like this. On the top of my head I can think of Tsonga vs Nadal AO SF 2008, or Djokovic vs Nadal AO Final 2019

Adoraria ver os dois jogarem duplas.

Right off the bat 2006 Federer, that is how you know that someone knows tennis and what they are talking about. Federer in 2 years 2005/2006 lost only 9 matches... that is what the definition of in the zone means. 176-9.... insane

He beat Nadal 6-0 on clay in Hamburg 2007 final.

Federer could have defeated Nadal on Roland Garros in 2006 and 2011. But his best chance was in 2006. 6-1 in the first set versus a boy, that was a GS champion. The 2009 AO e 2009 USOpen too. The USOpen he had the second set in his hand and lost it. He lost 2 matches to djokovic having match points in his serve. And 2019 wimbledon too, having 2 match points in his serve against Djokovic.

One of the many reasons he's the greatest of them all.
When he won, he often won easily (straight sets of four); when he lost, he _barely_ lost, often through a mix of bad luck & what could be called destiny.

You can't call that In the Zone if Fed can't keep it up the whole match. Roland Garros 2006 wasn't one of them, he lost.

    Some years ago
...a journalist questioned whether Roger and Rafa will choose doubles once they get older....now since they both have retired...I think it'll be incredible... if they can play doubles for a year....and see how it pans out....😂🎉🎉🎉
