I would absolutely love you if you could show how you can copy a reinforcement menu from an existing mission. E.g. the skirmish levels (like Downfall - Berlin) have an existing reinforcement menu that I can see in the editor and link to the doctrine you select on mission start. I want to copy this onto my own level but idek where to begin :')
@milkcookiesngames9272 hey man, it’s part of the talvisota dlc. There are also ones for the US in the liberation dlc such as battle of the bulge which is the map you are on in this video. You can load the missions in the editor with the f3 mode and it’s crazy to see it all setup since it’s like what you showed in this video but a lot more of it. I really want to make my own by copying and then editing the relevant stuff but it’s so overwhelming to even begin to process haha
Sooo many commands just for each reinforcement unit lol. Going to be tedious changing it all for each new one I put in lol...ugh. :D At the end when you're talking about unit icons in the folder, I have the interface folder but no folder within that has the icons for the units. Are you able to upload it to a site?
I completely agree mate, it becomes very tedious, but it does look good at the end. You should have the unit icons mate as they're part of the game. They'll be in the pak files. You gotta use 7 zip to get into the files.
@@milkcookiesngames9272Don't mean to be a pain in the arse bud, but could you make a video on how to place the reinforcement buttons in a menu? For example, you have Tiger 1 and Tiger 2 tanks in the Heavy Tank menu section, Support for AT placements, Infantary etc lol.
Thank you for this explanation. You do tutorials mores often these times, i like it and it helps a lot to have this as a reference. For some idea of tutorial : maybe explain the tag uses by the engine like "hidden" (I see this tag on some unit but dont know ghat it does excly or if I must add it to have special effect... I assume there is more tags that can give sepcial abilities to the unit like the "talk" or "repair" i see on human units. Or another question i had was : is it possible to have the part of a vehicule already damaged, like you start the mission with the tracks damaged and the obejctive is to repari it.. Whaterver, thank you very much for you videos :) !
Thank you for your feedback and support! You actually can start a mission with broken vehicle parts and have objective to repair it. It's a bit advanced but it's an idea I will look into
in the settings that controls the sensitivity try to put it higher if you really need to cancel some background noise or just open mic to record.. hope it helps keep up the good work @@milkcookiesngames9272
Hey there, I have mentioned it in other videos. In order to bring the tags menu, press 'CTRL+T' or you can press 'U' and select the tags menu. You can also press 'ALT+T' to see the tags you've given to units without having to select them and go into the tags menu. I hope this helps.
Sorry about that mate. It's not my mic settings, it was the actual mic itself, it was on the way out. I'm running a new mic and same settings but way better results. I will probably revisit this video at a later date.
great video man! hope you keep going over more topics. How do you know this stuff? Are there like forums?
How about off map paratroopers and airstrikes? I seen it before
thank you

Hey mate, that skirmish mission is that in the base game of Gates of Hell? I can definitely take a look and try and replicate it.

@@IllusivePrime All good bro! I can do a video on how to achieve that outcome

I’m trying to do this with vehicles and weapon crews but the crews themselves will not change to my side
You might have to add tags to the crews themselves but usually the crews change side when the vehicle does. let me know how you go with that mate
awsome vids ty shame the mic cuts off sometimes..
it's unfortunate, I'm trying to fix the issue with different mic settings and filters. So, hopefully, next video is better.

Decent guide and all but you didn't say how to pull up things such as the Tags menu.

@@milkcookiesngames9272 Oh, thanks!
Decent tutorial, too bad your mic has agressive audio cutoff so I can barely hear you say stuff.
