I saw an ad for a law firm the other day that claimed to have 9 "doctor lawyers" and it like watching a parody of this skit
I worked at a law firm in Chicago that you regularly see on TV. It is very clear who the Ganz was! Lol!

I love how even in their logo, the scale of justice is tipped in Broderick's favor, instead of being perfectly balanced. Nice subtle extra touch, SNL !!

Ganz is a terrible lawyer, but can I just say, serious props to the guy for giving up both of his kidneys. I mean, really, he saved the lives of two people selflessly. Perhaps he did it hoping to get hired, but all the same, good on him for doing it.

I’ve watched this so many times and just realized he hired a lawyer to evict him…from his hotel room. He could’ve just booked another room.
To be fair, being able to win a case while mission two kidneys is quite the task, yet Dan accomplished it... imagine if he had both of them. That man would be a god in the court room

William Jones She had 2 lines, and everyone messes up occasionally, especially at the beginning. Boy, you're strict. No one would last with that kind of pressure working for you.
I like Melissa, I've seen her utube videos of impressions but she has screwed up every line in every skit of seen if her, I hope she gets better

I'll be very honest, of all the skits from the last era of SNL with Kate, Pete and company, this is probably my favourite. Something about this specific joke works so well, almost certainly because Aziz Ansari sells the weirdness of it so well.

I don't think this was the point of the skit but a lot of law firms assign their shitty less skilled and poor performing lawyers to clients they don't think will get a lot of money.
Don't ask about the Cochrane Firm. There was actually a lawsuit about it after Cochrane retired.
