Decent session, few fish. Have you considered changing to braid? 80/90lb straight through, then have a 12lb hook line. You’ll lose less gear and might even drag some back in…plus with no leader knot, less issues with weed…👍🏻
I was down behind prem inn just doing casting practice. I also snagged up with just a lead. 1st time pulled it out and retreived a hook so must have been someones gear. 2nd time lost leader and lead. Definitely turned chilly around 16:30. At the time i saw a few people fishing and thought to myself. I wonder if its Dave and crew. Lol

Hey Dave, gutted to see you losing your rigs and shock leaders. Maybe a simple rotten-bottom clip and some weak mono would be best in those gullies. Nothing worse than losing the lot to snags mate. Good effort as always, enjoyed the vid 👍

Yeah Shame the rays an cod didn’t show, I had a nightmare with getting snagged.. will definitely fish it again but maybe a bit further up or down, didn’t no it was you guys or I would of wales up to see ya..👌

Yeah I’ve tried braid before but I didn’t like it so went back to mono.. yeah gets expensive though when you keep losing gear..
When I fish there in my kayak the fish are always close in. If I go further than 350m the guys on the beach out fish me.

Yeah I was the only one snagging up and the others where fishing right by my side, four sets I lost in total..🤦.. just one of them days..lol..
