WML Stop Motion Festival 2023

Doncaster Library hosted a Stop Motion Film Festival on Friday where movie submissions from patrons were shown on the big screen. Patrons had the summer to create their movies and we receive some fantastic submissions! The audience at the festival screen gave each piece a round of applause, with many of the creators in the audience. The ages of entrants ranged from 8 years to adult. Each movie told its story with the suggested themes of ‘summer, fun, reading and libraries. One staff and audience favourite was entitled Milly and her Robot, with Milly using her local library to learn how to fix her robot friend.
