I worked for Ratners for over 4 years and it was the best job I ever had. Best retailer of its generation and years ahead of its time.
actually comes across as a really decent guy. Respect for coming back from such a setback must've been a really dark 7 years for him and his family
Smart guy. I'm glad I heard about him and took the time to look this up.
I have the deepest respect for him. He must have grown immensely from that.

@@NINJA-ji6jp Yeah sad for them but obviously was certainly not something that was done on purpose. Just very unfortunate the papers picked up on the comment. Everyone knew it was crap as in the bargain basement stuff they sold at the time .
This guy has been there the very top lost it all it has defo change him for the better but the press and news paper prove they can misinterpreted words to wreak lifes
Let's not forget the role played by cousin Victor Ratner in the success - best boss I've ever had and a brilliant sense of humour
