When I was 14, I was at the shore's, directly next to the Del. One evening, my sister, her boy friend and myself, were walking across the street from the Del, eating ice cream. We had stopped to look up at the beautiful Del. We all noticed, a patch of what seemed like fog, move into the space, below one of the turrets. It turned into a women's form, in a white lace dress and period hat. It moved around the turret, stopped, and simply dissolved back into mist, and went out the other side.
When I left, I asked the hotel shuttle driver if he has heard other stories from guests. He said that he heard of one guest experiencing a remote control thrown across the room, and other guests have said that they woke up finding that the bed was "made over" them as if someone was tucking them in for the night. That's craziness!! But after what I had experienced, and now from what other guest stories online have reported, I believe them.
I found it underneath my bed - but not like on the periphery of the bed where I may have knocked it off the bed stand and it landed there - no, it was all the way in the middle under the bed, perfectly straight aligned. I had to get on my hands and knees to reach under to get it out. To this day, I still cannot rationally explain it and I was just glad nothing else happened. When I left, I asked the hotel shuttle driver if he has heard other stories from guests. He said that he heard of

Instead, the room's phone receiver was off the hook - but dangling off the side like I had knocked it over by accident but rather the receiver was "placed" off the hook neatly to the side as if someone had done it so that I could sleep. Meanwhile my cell phone's alarm was still ringing and I still couldn't find it anywhere on the bed stand or bed. The snooze on it kicked in so it went quiet. I got up and went to the bathroom and then I heard the alarm go off again. I found it underneath my be
The woman said that the ghost of Kate Morgan actually spoke to her in the store? And you didn't ask what Kate said to her? Or what she looked like, a real person, a ghost?? How did the woman KNOW it was Kate?? She says she actually talked to a ghost and you just move on without following up!!!???
We knew nothing of the "Del Ghost" when we went inside, to ask about it. the Concierge, directed us to the basement. There we found a walking exhibit of the story of who the women was and how she'd died, in the hotel. The turret, where we had seen her, was directly above the room, she stayed in, at the time of her death. I never thought I was going to be one of those people, who had an "I've seen a ghost" story, but I am! I know what I saw, and I was fortunately, not alone when I did.!
