Hahah yess the Driftworks 10-1.. gotta love the effort put into that piece! This build is definitely focused on being more of a clean/OEM build, main priority being function! Set up is utilizing an OEM E46 M3 ZF steering rack!
Awesome build. Cant wait to see it running. Question do you think this motor would have fit better in an E92? I’m looking to maybe do a crazy swap myself 😊
That's a good question! There were plenty of challenges fitting the S85 into the E46 chassis, which required modifications. Until we take on that project, comparing would be difficult. Maybe we'll ask our Tech in the next video!
Hey there, found the video on Reddit but commenting here and subscribed so it helps with views etc. Did you have to alter the exhaust manifolds, subframe, oil pan (or any combination of the three) as some say is required for such a swap? There's a guy in northern Europe who fitted a dry sump and the guys at Driftworks had custom headers made. Please have it weighed when it's all done so we can know the weight distribution!

Good job! Are you going to relocate or enclose air filters to avoid pulling hot air from the radiator?
A solution for the air filters is in the works with heat soak from the bay in mind, stay tuned to see what we come up with!

What MAF honeycomb are you using? would you share the spec?
3 1/4 Inch inner diameter is the size of honeycomb element required!
What's the plan after its finished? List it for sale?
