Thanks Craig - great video. I had the same oscillator model fail in an HP 5334A. Believing I had nothing to lose, I opened it up and was able to repair it - an internal connection has corroded and failed and it turned out to be a simple repair and it went back in to service. So it may be worth popping it open and having a look. If nothing else they are constructing in an interesting way. Keep making your vids, I really enjoy them!
Thanks for watching! I have the B version of that counter, they are very nice units when they are equipped with the high stability and 1.3GHz channel option.
Thanks! It's taken a good 4+ years, lots of budgeting and lots of patients waiting for the right deal at the right time. It can be quite the adventure.
Thanks for watching. Yeah, the 41CX, one of my favorites along with the 42S and 48GX. I have been slowly accumulating the necessary components and will eventually do something with instrument control via HP-IB with it.
HP41CX is my favorite too, in fact I have several that I am using to control instruments, but I am mainly using HP-IL (a 2 wire serial comms version similar to HP-IB) and I have a HP82169A HP-IL/HP-IB interface that lets me connect to my HP-IB instruments as well. Videos are great by the way! @@CraigPetersen12f36b

Great video, I also liked the photo bombing of your HP41!!

Hey Craig, I am really enjoying your videos. This is Joe, I used to live down the street from you. Hello! 😀
Thanks for chiming in Joe, been a while for sure. Glad to see you're enjoying the videos, I'll be posting some more in the coming weeks so stay tuned.
@@CraigPetersen12f36b Did you get that JS1000?
Enjoyed the video. I have one of the 3335's TelCo cousins, the 3336B, and love it.
Yeah I have seen a few of those, still a very nice level generator. Thanks for watching!
Ładna aparatura HP :)
