I grow so much from what you share about our Church teachings and the wisdom of the Father's and Elders. Even the comment section helps. Many of us feel lonely and very misunderstood. From this virus and popular culture, the varying ways our clergy respond (or don't) to the reality of the days we are in. Pray for me my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as I will for you. You should have enough examples through the bible, where people point fingers to cause war and senseless killing happens. Jesus came to forgive our personal sins so other mortals didn't feel justified in judging if we are sinners or not. Everyone is a sinner.

I left the Episcopal Church when I was very young and wondered aimlessly from church to church including the Roman Catholic Church. I probably in 40 years only went to church maybe a dozen times. It wasn’t until I was over 60 years old I found the Orthodox Church and my peace with God and Christ. I got my Chrismation in 2019 and I absolutely love my church and have made wonderful friends. This country is so blinded with the fact they think your either Catholic, Protestant or Jewish and everyone in the Middle East is Muslim. Sad state of affairs. • @koenwelsh7994
      @koenwelsh7994 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I disagree. I believe “Revelation” is inherently a revolution against Satan’s power in the world as led by Jesus Christ Himself and much of the worst aspects of humanity happen even without the revolutionary spirit. I believe entrenched overwhelming power can be worse.
Also, you don’t need to kill to be a part of a revolutionary spirit. For example, most American colonists weren’t particularly interested in killing anyone… but the tyrannical British certainly were. There is a right to defend. The entirety of Russian orthodoxy depended on Russian paranoia and militarism throughout history as most their brethren were slaughtered in the Middle East at the hands of Muslim armies. God appoints the power of life and death to governments but when government is evil I believe chooses to overthrow them. It happened all throughout the Old Testament. God has His purposes.
Furthermore, I view Jesus as a moral rebel in relation to the culture of His day. You can be in steadfast rebellion and with a revolutionary spirit and not be Satanic. We must all believe that Christ’s kingdom isn’t just some spiritual and invisible idea. He will reign on the earth physically. This requires a physical overturning of powers currently in place. Revelation is full of this sort of imagery. How literal swords from His mouth is, I don’t know, but Jesus will not be here to be a follower. He is King.

@@gregs3220 I’m sorry, but you must not live in the same world I live in. Satan is in power here. God allows it as a part of His revelation but Jesus came and is leading a Revolution against it. Jesus is leading a moral rebellion against the world. Sorry if you just can’t stand to see it and I’m sorry if that somehow disrupts your sense of piety. But the truth is, overcoming the cross was a revolutionary act.

@@papabenoit782 How do you know God's will? Granted He said he wanted us to be one but we've always been one. The Orthodox Church is intact. Those who break off leave the Church, they do not set up a parallel church.
      John 2:19
“They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.”
It seems you only want unity when weak. When you've been strong you've had no problems proselytizing in Orthodox lands and causing strife. Now when the tables are turned you suddenly pray for unity.
We can only reunite on Truth and the whole Truth is only found in the Orthodox faith. We can surely be friendly and such but at this point there is little hope for "reunification". Meanwhile we'll benefit by your Pope Frank who makes our apologetics so easy. So until we see real repentance from your hierarchy including the Pope, we'll just continue to convert you one at a time. Which suits us just fine. How long can you continue at this rate of hemorrhaging? We're surely not budging it is not a diplomatic issue but a Truth issue, we will never accept the Papal universal jurisdiction, the Filoque, ADS and your other errors.
So instead of praying for unity you should pray that you can break through your pride and repent of your errors. God bless you and sorry if my language is direct. But I believe the kindest thing atm is that we're honest to each other and especially to ourselves.

Please ask your husband to reed it too. The problem I see is that most people are aware of what exactly is going on and who is behind it and yet nobody is prepared to stand against. In the society I leave the working classes are too busy to make ends meet , the middle classes are way overpaid so if they know, they are are keeping it quite.... and so on . And this is how the Antichrist rule as all . I am scared also for my child that for the last 5 years at school had only one nativity play and I hope that as a strong orthodox family we will get through this . May God be with us all. The ideas of this sermon
    are encapsulated in the
    John Prine song
    “Spanish Pipe Dream”
    Read it here
    look it up
    Peace be with you all
    She was a level-headed dancer
    On the road to alcohol
And I was just a soldier on my way to Montreal
Well, she pressed her chest against me
About the time the juke box broke
Yeah, she give me a peck
On the back of the neck
And these are the words she spoke
    "Blow up your TV
    Throw away your paper
    Go to the country
    Build you a home
    Plant a little garden
    Eat a lot of peaches
Try an' find Jesus on your own"
Well, I sat there at the table
    And I acted real naive
For I knew that topless lady
    Had something up her sleeve
Well, she danced around the bar room
    And she did the hoochie-coo
Yeah, she sang her song all night long
    Tellin' me what to do
    "Blow up your TV
    Throw away your paper
    Go to the country
    Build you a home
    Plant a little garden
    Eat a lot of peaches
Try an' find Jesus on your own"
Well, I was young and hungry
And about to leave that place
When just as I was leavin'
Well, she looked me in the face
I said, "You must know the answer"
She said, "No, but I'll give it a try"
And to this very day, we've been livin' our way
    Here is the reason why
    We blew up our TV
    Threw away our paper
    Went to the country
    Built us a home
    Had a lot of children
    Fed 'em on peaches
They all found Jesus on their own

We got rid of cable a bit ago and just have streaming services where we pick what we want to watch which isn't much as so many things are just trash.

Lord help us. We are sinners seeking repentance, lost in a world of delusion. We are wretched and require your grace. Look upon us with pity and love us in our downtrodden state and lift us up to the ranks of your humble saints, in Christ's name. Amen.

Father Spyridon , nobody says it as real as you do. Soo many are afraid to speak the truth because we are doomed to be scrutinized by those who are under the influence of the Fowler. Watching all your videos for over a year has encouraged me to convert to Orthodoxy and it was beautiful. I became a Freemason about 3 years ago or so and had climbed the higher degrees and thanks to you and my Orthodox priest who lives next door I have left the occult and I live strictly by the laws of God. You have been a part of my journey to where I am so thank you Father. ☦️

As written in your excellent book Orthodoxy and the Kingdom of Satan. And what's even greater is how the Orthodox Priests are coming out and calling out the snares of the Unholy. And inviting us to repent.

Father. Thank you for such a concise explanation of the current situation. I'm a father of two boys. I was raised in an Orthodox Christian family, but it has been a grave challenge to shape my kids in such a way. I don't allow my kids to watch TV and have placed other guiding remedies in place. However, currently the schools are the major challenge for my family. The kids are bombarded with subtle messages that are evil in nature. Some of the topics are too complicated to explain to our kids. We are praying to get God's assistance to go through these challenges. Your teaching is very helpful for us. Thank you.

This is the first time for ages that I've heard anyone but angry MGTOWers ( men going their own way ) say that it's normal for a man to earn enough to raise a family. I can't say I agree with everything but it's really good to hear that.

Looking back to the 1960s, putting so many women in the workplace was a direct assault on the family, lowering wages for all workers and convincing people to let strangers (and government) raise their children. Imho.

If you are called to teach, there are avenues to do so outside of the demonic school system. Orthodox youth needs true teachers now more than ever. Pray for the Lords will to be done, if He wills you to teach, you will. God bless.

To me the key perspective that’s been lost or forgotten is the perspective of the eternal, which is also mentioned in this sermon. No matter religion or spiritual tradition the perspective of the bigger picture or the reality beyond the obvious everyday life has been so totally wiped away from the minds of the people of our age. No wonder we act as if there’s no tomorrow! But as soon as we discover our true nature and how it relates to everything again those evil days of darkness are wiped of our minds as if it never happened. That’s the nature of the eternal, forever pure and uncorrupted. It was all a dream.

I feel constricted. No holy water in Church, no communion on the tongue, no hand to hand contact with others in worship, partially hidden facial expressions, no singing loudly in praise, muzzled by a mask. It puts me in a spiritually weakened state. It weighs heavily on me. The fractured state of the church. The unattainable cost of private religious school. The exorbitant cost of living on one income. I worry for my son, the values I try to instill, will they quickly wash away when he comes of age as they once did for me. Will he be discriminated against for who he is. Will he walk with God. Will he understand it won’t be in vain.

The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
Hope you may find a parish that has not bowed down to the world.
      There are some.
It is so disheartening to see those ruled by fear.
      Love!
