This song just makes you want to cry. Then soon after, the flow of tears fueled with a fiery passion descend with the wind before resting on earth itself.
I quicked saved before any of those eye rooms. Makes it less frustrating. And I just skipped floor 2 puzzle lel. Also that particular last eye before the end, that was a big JERK.
The flow of Wind Shrine always gets me so beautifully done with the orchestra, choir and the epic heroic journey it conveys. Followed by Earth amazing variations and unique western feel.
Tbh I LOVED Zestiria, but it was way too ambitious for the time limit and budget they had. Like they had all kinds of amazing parts of the game to delve into, but nothing stood out because they kept going for more instead of improving what they had already first. They went all out on the OST as well though, so it ended up being more meaningful to me than any one aspect of the game
Following up on that, it seems they learned from their mistakes, because they focused far more heavily on the combat and such on Berseria and it really shows. If they were both two chapters of the same game, with in depth mechanics more along the lines of Berseria and other Tales games, I feel like it really would have been the magnum opus they were aiming for tbh. Like the story may have a lot less plot points in Berseria, but that's why it feels more impactful overall (although I won't deny I did feel attached to the Zestiria crew and did shed a few tears tbh).
I know I said somewhere that Zaveid's theme was the best in this collection, but after hearing Mikleo's "Melody of Water" again I easily changed my mind... ha ha... That water trial was really something... gives me chills. The best among the game soundtracks I've heard so far...
The two first trials had an insane difficulty Spike. Playing in highest difficulty the game went from "im untouchable with Kamui" to "i died 14 times". Fire and water trial enemies had no right to be that hard
I think it's easier to agree as to which Tales games has the BEST tracks overall, than to agree on a BEST Tales game overall... cause that is based on many other factors aside from characters, story, battle system, and our personal first! Besides, Zesty will always be special to me no matter what the "best" game is for everybody else out there...
Zestiria will compete with Legendia. Both are composed by Go Shiina. Man I wished Go Shiina would come back to actually compose for a tales game that will be widely beloved by fans.
@@crucicarose4343 I agree. Go Shiina decided to be independent and Hideo Baba is now with Square Enix doing a new game where MC looks almost exactly like Sorey ("Istolia"). I feel bad that Reddit is dividing the fanbase, forcing people to take sides as to which is better, Vesperia, Berseria or Zestiria... and instead of being objective they put out topics that look like public opinion though it's coming from the same people the moderators support (and the moderator is anti-Zestiria herself, even admitting it). Zesty always gets blamed for dividing the fandom but the ones doing that are these nasty obsessive "Big Three" fans who feed sh*tty topics in social media making it look like a lot of people agree, although it's just a handful of them. I hope Go Shiina comes back. And I hope fans would support whatever game Tales releases... and respect everyone's taste, instead of bashing people who aren't obsessed with the overrated "Big Three" Tales games (Abyss, Vesperia, Symphonia).
@@turquoisemoon3654 wow, all of that. I agree with all of that. Im not much into abyss but more into legendia and I am always half expecting to be bashed anything Legendia. Seems like that notoriety was passed to Zestiria.
@@crucicarose4343 I'm so happy about this feedback! I've been a Zestiria fan since Zesty came out and I feel sad that most gamers fill every discussion site with their "hate speech" and "saltiness" about the game. It's sad that they want to disagree, yet they hate people disagreeing with their negative opinions. These fans hardly live up to the theme of most Tales games, which is acceptance, understanding, and respect for others... especially for those who disagree and have their own opinions about the same stuff. I hope you're having a great week, and I would be happy to hear more from other fans of Tales, of course! ^_^
Wind song here sounds leagues better than it does in game. In game is not bad at all but it doesnt sound epic like this one. In game just sounds like a wind based dungeon while concert sounds like the Trial of Wind is located outdoors in the mountains with a never-ending snowstorm.
Y’all this is a long read, but pls read it all, I seriously wish more people could realize what I’m about to say about this game. *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGHHH,* This game had so much potential, it could’ve been sooo much better. The story was a really good one but the execution, depiction, and character development wasn’t strong, there was’t huge impact, so it totally undermined the grandiose feeling it should’ve had ( specifically the grandiose feeling that it did have in its anime that was later released.) The scenes, action, and gameplay in the game were also just… not good. At all, precisely the action. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate this game and really liked it, even though it often got a bit boring. I just appreciate it for what it was made to be, it’s actually one of my favorite games cuz I saw beneath all its flaws. That’s really the only reason I can still love the game. If u need an example, just look at the anime and how visually and stunning it looked when it came out. It was EVRYTHING I wanted the game to be. I definitely feel like the game was missing the *GORGEOUSLY* animated fast paced, flashy spectacles of action from the show, which seriously made the characters and seraphim seem MUCH more capable and unique. The storytelling and lore in the show was wonderfully done. And for the bit of character development that the game tried to pull off, the show did SO MUCH better. a few examples are Edna and her brother and sorey’s fight with him, Mikleo and Sorey’s friendship (was really wholesome in the show) Rose’s determination and honor as an assassin (also has a much more serious tone in the show), Alisha’s role as the princess of Hyland and the things she’s seen about the world that she wishes she could change. And OH GOD, HOW COULD I FORGET- The show does an AMAZING job of depicting the conflict that the balance of their world is rapidly becoming increasingly fragile, and may crumble all together at any moment if the malevolence isn’t suppressed to tip the scales. The lore of the world was really well done through the storytelling. I mean, just watch the first episode of season 1. It had me going sheesh, I didn’t know the malevolence was THIS much of a threat…If you know, you know. If you’ve watched episode one, Need I say more??? (No really, if u haven’t watched it, go watch episode 1 of season 1 and tell me it didn’t do a much better job of setting the tone than the game, I wanna see what u guys think, even more so if you’ve played the game. I need someone to tell I’m not the only one disappointed after seeing the show and seeing what the game could’ve been. By all means, don’t just stop at episode 1, I don’t even think you’ll wanna stop there.) Playing the game, I already knew it was an amazing game with flaws that detrimentally overshadowed how good it was intended to be. Seeing the show just made my so upset because it was so good. Yes, because it was so good, so much better than the game. Because it validated my disappointment with the way the game turned out, and confirmed my disappointment with what was missing from it. Lastly, the world in the show looked beautiful, and so very visually stunning. It seemed fleeting and grand, and honestly a work of art in and of itself (idk if u guys can relate to that last bit, I’m an artist and very detail oriented so visual presentation and craftsmanship to me is everything, and small little details go a long way.) But like I said before, it’s one it’s still one my favorite games, and I still love it for what it could’ve been. Oh, and the soundtrack had me in awe, Go Shiina’s gotta be a genius musician, idc what anyone says. 😤 the man’s music is so good, I instantly know it’s him whenever I hear it any show or game. (Def got me hyped while watching demon slayer and playing code vein.) This game definitely needs a remake but considered how badly it was received by the audience *sigh…* I can only hope. Seeing Tales of Arise made me want a remake sooo bad. It has the action, the story, the visual representation is very satisfactory and visually pleasing. And the serious tones and character development seem to come across pretty well too.Tales of Zestiria done like that, while putting in all the aspects and elements that I loved from the anime would seriously put my mind at ease. It still keeps nagging at me how much potential Zestiria’s game had that wasn’t fleshed out. Sheesh, I didn’t know I needed to get that off my chest so bad. Really, thanks for listening if you made it this far. Don’t forget to see episode of season 1 of Tales of Zestiria if u haven’t seen it, and by all means finish the anime, it was really good, and the animation was *STUNNING.* If you like the animation for Demon Slayer, you’ll *LOVE* the animation in Tales of Zestiria’s anime, I guarantee it.
Fire shrine will ALWAYS be my fave of the four
Water Shrine is so beautifully orchestrated
This song just makes you want to cry. Then soon after, the flow of tears fueled with a fiery passion descend with the wind before resting on earth itself.
Jesus christ that wind temple part chorus makes me wanna cry in joy
The only thing that kept me from exploding during the water trial was the music

That percussion at the wind temple bless
Am i the only one who thinks the best is the Earth theme?
ATXD Gameplay nope. But still love all of them!
I do too
Late reply but yes. Earth was my favorite. Followed by wind.
Earth is my favorite!! Wind and Water are beautiful too!! The Fire trial didn't really stand out to me as much for some reason
everyone loves earth trial theme!!
I don't think Zestiria was even remotely the best Tales game (still loved it though), but damn its soundtrack was amazing
I wasn't able to finish Zestiria before getting bored, but the soundtrack is almost worth going back for.
Saying which game was the best out of the series is opinionated but agreed a very very beautiful soundtrack indeed
It had Go Shiina on it, thats why part of it is better than most of the series

the only consolation for that stupid trial i swear ugh

literally heard God Eater at the beginning. Then noticed these are the shrine songs, which were apparently composed by Go Shiina. That explains it.

I suspect that piano bit in the Water one was a bit too rough to do live xD
Fire trial feels like a mexican party
Earth trial nier automata vibes
Wind trial repetitive
Water trial godly music

The water one should have been before the earth one. Just because it's the order in the game
I played the in the order of these songs, water and earth trials are interchangeable in order
The earth one was so easy, I just used the water cloak thing and went right to the beast.
You can do that? I watched a run of the game and the guy I watched did Fire>Earth>Water>Wind.
Yes,you can change up two of the temples. Only the fire and Wind ones have a forced order (Fire is first and WInd is last).
XIII I did Earth and Water first so it's no big deal to me.
