Yeah! That was a pretty awesome adventure. Unfortunately I was not able to collect as large of a sample as I wanted but that drill steel was sure a good find.
Wow. What an adventure. Some knee high rubber boots and a 5k lumen light in the backpack next time you venture out and of course a 9 mil on appendix, and venture in, wish i could do that, its hands down beautiful out there.

I just got back from that exact same area. I was looking for Silver Mountain mine.
I had my real mine venturing gear with me today but it wasn't used.
