    I got a spotted python earlier this year and I absolutely love this species. Easily my favorite python I ever owned

    I love my Children's Python. Had him since he was a babe. Always ate great. Easy care and they appreciate something to climb on. These snakes are overlooked and underappreciated.

    I live in Minnesota and the Australian reptiles have always been the best for this climate. Stimson's pythons can be troublesome at first but they are well worth it and are my favorite.

      Antaresia in general are my favorite group of pythons to work with, even without morphs. I think they have really great personalities (except the babies!) compared to many other types of pythons. I like their natural history as well. They kind of remind me of grey-banded kingsnakes (my other favorite) the way they use rock crevices. And one learns after time how to be patient and get those sometimes stubborn little babies to eat (both snakes!).

    Few questions. I only got through half the video because I had to run out, sorry. Been hearing different things...
    Can you use just a heat mat on one side of the enclosure and no light up top?
    Do I need a humidity box inside?
    How often do you feed as babies and then adults?
    About to get one for my child. 😊

    Brilliant video. If I was to consider a pet python this would be my choice. Hardier than a royal too

      Just picked up a 3 month old... she's eating like a champ and moved into her new enclosure with ease. She is my daughter's first snake... she is in love.

      Google “Crystal Palace Reptiles”. They seem to have them quite frequently

    Great video. Any reason for the gloves? Are they prone to musk or something?

    • @SnakesNAdders
      @SnakesNAdders  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      No no reason, apart from i thought it might look a bit more professional. They actually dont musk at all.
