      EB Morelia- thanks Eric! That’s my favourite part and just the way it should be in my opinion. Jessie’s mum Jacky has said that the snake seems like it’s so comfortable in its new home.

    I love watching these build videos.. I always start off , not doubting you, but unsure of how your vision will come together. But by the end of the video I am always impressed with the end result.. a perfect balance of being aesthetically pleasing , natural and also catering for the animals every need and comfort.. I'm sure both owner and occupant l ove it!

    Awesome build mate! Very helpful, thanks for sharing with the community.
    I have a few follow ups if youre still checking comments. I'm building a larger enclosure for my now adult spotted python (120 x 60 x 120)
    Can you please share how you treat larger pieces of wood that won't fit in the oven (if at all)? Any wood or leaves to avoid in Australia? Heard eucalyptus and pine are a no go because of their oil
    What substrate did you use in this build?

    • @BeachesScalyBeasts
      @BeachesScalyBeasts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi mate. Larger pieces of wood I sometimes would use a snake mite spray over it as it kills most bugs. Or I may leave it wrapped in black plastic in the sun on a driveway to cook.
      Most build I use eucy mulch and gum leaves. Kinda everywhere here in Aus so hard for the animals to avoid. Never had an issue with them. Hope this helps!

    • @BeachesScalyBeasts

      It’ll dry pretty quick provided the plants aren’t overwatered. And as long as the springtails keep populating they should destroy any mould.

    • @BeachesScalyBeasts
