A 1954 White 3000 semi truck seen at the Central New York ATHS truck show in Syracuse, NY. Recently purchased the owner of this truck was taking it back to his home in Las, Vegas.
Anyone remember Fosters Bakery in San Francisco , my dad drove one of those back in '47 to the mid '60s . They had a fleet of them.Always been an eye catcher.Had an electric motor to raise the cab.
I remember the wrtecking yard in hood river oregon had two or three of these. they had big reverse looking scoops on the roofs (I think they could have been parascope type reveiw mirrors.
@dixietrukr I know a couple that have converted one into a motor home puller and use a 1948 Trailways dry van as the motor home and have covered most of the lower 48 with it.
Molson Brewery in Montreal Canada had numerous White trucks in a STAKE Configuration to deliver brewsky in Montreal and surrounding areas. Great look trucks. this was in the fifties and very early 60's.
there must be another one of these around that area because I swear I saw one 2 years ago at the Saratoga NY show, unless this fella brought this one all the back from Las Vegas
I'm looking for a truck by the way and it's a bummer this year is cancelled because what better place to make connections on where to find cool old stuff
Drove several 3000 Whites with heating oil tanks 3500 gallons, that was back in the 1970’s
All this truck needs is a 6v92 and it would be perfect
Enjoyed seeing this ol White. Should be a blast to restore! Keep us posted.
Always been my favorite truck. I now have a small collection of GHQ N-Scale diecasts.
Terrific truck. I didn't realise they had sleep compartments in 1954.
Same nostalgia channel
If only those old trucks could talk.
Glad to hear you made. I just corrected the video info, thanks.
White. Trucks. Are. The. Best.
Oh man. Come on restore that baby That will turn heads like Linda Blair it’s gorgeous

It sounds like a gokart would be nice when it's restored

Not only classy but nobody will cut you off! Seriously its cool though.
God I saw thousands of these 3000’s back in my youth. Now we need to see its big brother the conventional White “Super Power”and White “Mustang”!
What's it have for an engine? Almost sounds like a gas job.
Probably is.. most of them were. My Dad drove one, minus the "SLEEPER" for Mobil Oil back in that time period.

Rheingold beer NYC
I would consider making it into a tandem truck and find a old box to pull with it.
I'd like to have that for my daily driver.
Very beutyfull truck
This is the highest class truck that USA Truck should be allowed to operate.
Hermoso tractor antiguo :) recuerdo haber visto un camion White blanco digamos moderno aqui en Oaxaca y un modelo mas viejito con un solo eje trasero.
What engine does it have?
МАЗ 500 оригинал
sound's like a gasoline engine to me!
They had HUGE Gas engines in most of them but I think some were diesels too...a lot were garbage trucks.
man thats cute!how much would it cost in that shape?
@bj99ful It is.
Забавное у него седло. Чтобы толкать а не тянуть?)))
@roadwolf2 original is cooler
