  • In this video I demonstrate how to attach molle pouches to a tactical load bearing vest. The pouches used were a milsurp canteen pouch and a milsurp m4/m16 magazine pouch. Thanks for watching!

    Great Job! I never would have thought to "weave" them. But once you explain it in common sense terms it seems so obvious. Thank You for the straightforward explanation. You could have made this complicated, but you didn't. You are a natural teacher.

    I’ve seen so many people at the range that don’t have theirs attached right. I knew there was a reason why the mag pouches had the loops under the straps. I was thinking they wouldn’t be there if they weren’t needed. Nice to see how it’s done right. Appreciate it! Ordering my first chest rig tomorrow so I was doing a little research and came across this video.

    I also prefer AK. I don't care for the 5.56 in general and the AR platform in particular (a jam prone, high powered .22 vs a well made, rugged, reliable, lots of it platform and powerful rounds? To me it's a no-brainer to pick the AK and several rifles chambering .308 Winchester, such as the M1A, FN FAL, H&K G3, etc......) With the U.S. being so AR-centric it can be hard to find good double mag pouches for the AK. I came across the Russian company Surppat/SRVV; I think they're partnered with the Czech company Tactical Pro. They make really excellent AK double mag pouches and triple mag shingles (they call them bandoliers) for the same price or cheaper than most single AK mag pouches on the American market. You just have to be careful ordering because they also make pouches for the Czech C58 and it can be a tight squeeze to get 2 AK 30s into a C58 pouch. Before that, I like the Black Hawk tier stacked AK double mag pouch (they're expensive, as you'd expect from Black Hawk). Anyway, my real question is do you know of a way to attach extra/additional MOLLE to rucks and tac vests/plate carriers? So often, I see gear I like everything about it and it has little or not enough MOLLE as I'd like. Originally I thought go to a mil surp store and gear that's cheap because it's got holes, rips, coming apart, etc......, use scissors to make it to the size I want, and use super glue and liquid stitching to make it like I want. Do you know of a way to get extra MOLLE on rucks , plate carriers, etc...... and have it attached good and strong so I have all I want? I looked at the sewing videos and those are beyond my skill

    question
    my backpack with molle system on the top has only two rows horizontal instead of three.
    if a pouch requires three down, is there a way to fit it tightly with only two?

    • @iamprepper
      @iamprepper  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the very late reply, but depending on exactly what pouch you're putting on the backpack, and exactly where its situated and what your carrying in it, two rows can be sufficiently tight. I would recommend that you go ahead and try to fit it, load it up how you'd like to have it, and see if it looks like it will work.
