Amor and Rachel you did us proud! Congratulations team Kenya and everyone who participated! A special mention to you AMOR, keep shining 🌟, onwards and upwards!
I love how Amore questioned the outcome and knew undoubtedly that she was the best!❤ I don’t believe there was just a “mishap”. How could they make such a mistake and rob the young lady of experiencing the feeling of winning among her peers?
Oh wow. It's so interesting watching this. I was one of the volunteers of this moot court. It's amazing to know that we have all graduated and I enjoyed meeting students from different parts of Africa. Watching this is giving me such nostalgia 😍
I am not in the law field but I felt inspired by this documentary as a student or ordinary citizen. My heart goes to the oppressed because I was one in some form. I hope that the refugees achieve their human rights. Great docu, Alja! 🇵🇭
@@stealthman-vy4oh I think she did that because of the nature of the competition owing to the competitive nature of it and how prestigious it was for Rachel to have thought she'd won. I'm sure she'd have thought Amor is jealous.. I'm glad she did what she did most would shy away
@@faithkerubo5621 yes but Rachel was her teammate...not an opponent....at least inform her about the plan before hand or at least ask what score she got to see how it is...seems like a red flag to me tbh
Team kenya did great. I liked the composure of the Ugandan team , it brought out a form of mystery to the opponents. All in all They all came out winners .
I loved the comment that, most African youths now are educated and have grown up in good environments free from colonialism….I hope we shake off the colonialism tag and develop our countries. Wherever you go, always remember your home will always be Africa. Much love from 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
I envious of all of you. I wish all africa eas like Botswana. You didn't waist your existence and still believe in change and hope.I not old but I Don't see a peacefully way of solving issues where blood as been shed. I hope you are able to do prove the value of reason and companion in you endeavours in the betterment of this sick world.
A human centered documentary! Insightful and informative. All the students did great job. What’s more important is the human connections they have built around ideas, opinions and desire to use a humanistic lens to make our world just, and equitable for refugees.
My personal opinion is that Technically the Ugandan Team Won but Narratively the Kenyan Team Won (Had to Win). There's no way an anti-refugee argument will ever win in this kind of setting. The Ugandan lady should hold her head up. A Truly fierce lawyer.
I'm glad society is grooming the youth to keep up the current systems to be up to world standards. I so wish kids weren't taught to beat themselves up for not being the best. Sometimes you are being groomed for failure.

This type of endeavors must never include LGBT or feminism, they don't feature in the daily struggles of Africans. Defenders of human rights must focus on access to quality education, skills development and job creation, housing and security and access to quality healthcare because those issues are a birth right.
Well they do feature in the daily struggles of LGBT and female Africans, and to them they are just as pressing as other problems, surely we can chew gum and walk
@@holyheathen435 Oh please, woman and the LGBTQ are two different entities if I may borrow that word, woman are part of us man, natural to this universe and part of the create on which without them man can not exist and will cease to exist, woman provide the balance to human life that without them they will be chaos. Our focus is to protect our woman, provide to them and love them above and beyond anything. We can't say that about the LGBTQ, however, what we can say about the LGBT is that they bring chaos and confusion, dismantle traditional family structure and disrupt the continuation of life. Feminism and the LGBT both belong in America, they have done a tremendous job in destroying the Black America communities and traditional family structure, Black Americans are almost at the point of no return, South African Black people will follow too, come back here when it happens in South Africa.
@@holyheathen435 Our main focus across Africa should be access to quality education, quality health care, security, cyber security, skills development, infrastructure development, access to food and a lot of it for everyone and getting rich. In Africa countries like Rwanda, Ghana, Ethiopia, Namibia, Botswana, Mauritius, Seychelles, Morocco and Kenya are doing great and we must appreciate their hard work in achieving the above mentioned things. Leave the LGBT to the USA and South Africa, they have nothing of great importance to attend even though their Black communities are in poverty.

Do things like this ever change the lives of the refugees or are even implemented 🤔 is it just a grand debate
Yes, PanAfrican for the whole continent. Remove all borders.

True. They were highly eloquent, focused to the point, and utilized a sophisticated legal language.
