DEUTZ-FAHR TO THE RESCUE!!!! | HARVESTING BEANS

- In today's video we are harvesting our field beans. After our own combine broke down we had to hire in help and the Deutz-Fahr came to the rescue. We also bale up the bean straw in the MF 7618 and JD baler. Bean straw is very coarse but makes great bedding for cattle as it has great soakage. Crop of beans was a mixed bag, some areas with great tall high plants with lots of pods and other areas were not so good. We also take a quick look at the uncovered maize with Father Phil as it's just in the field beside the beans and can not believe how it's come on in leaps and bounds - still a while of cutting time though!

Hi Phil. Just thinking there, that it would be great to may be to insert a couple of quick clips of when ye sowed your crops during the drone footage..nothing fancy, even without sound .. Just a reminder of what it looked like at the time.. It would help remind us of the circle of the year of seed to harvest

My in laws live on Prince Edward Island in Canada which was hit by a hurricane last weekend. 120mph winds which wrecked a couple of sheds. The worst bit is that 170 acres of maize was blown down flat. Gonna be a nightmare getting it chopped.

Have you tried broard casting and ploughing the beans in 6" deep? I did this year for the first time was pleased with the results.

Most if not all telehandlers and such like have reversing horns.
For a while now, construction machinery have beeping horns in forward and reverse just to piss everyone off and also have an amber flashing beacon and a green flashing beacon to tell everyone the driver has a seatbelt on.
It's all part of the woke, snowflake world of driving every worker mad!
