For fun, I'll mention the animated special Fairies from the '80s. The crisis was somewhat similar. Except it was the fairy king who gave life to his shadow, apparently out of boredom. Then he had the idea to give it autonomy as well. It did not go well.

A Yandere Shadow? Oftentimes your shadow can be larger than you so this is a fitting interpretation of that. Even more so that it’s the girl the listener likes only to an insane degree which again just shows off the wide range you can go with Yandere’s as well as Vanilla’s range ^_^

Talk about a battle between light and darkness! Your performance added an element of genuine terror to this story, and along with the vague tags, I wasn’t sure who would win and it had me on the edge of my seat! Great job on this one!

I mean she has a nice silhouette but she's not my type, too two-dimensional. I tried telling jokes but her sense of humor is too dark. She just can't hold a candle to our velvet.

That bit in the description of “Happy Ending? Depends on who you ask.” had me convinced this was gonna end with either the listener betraying their gf and choosing the shadow or that the gf was gonna fuse with her shadow and she would end up being somewhere in between the two personality-wise afterward. (And those closing lines had me MAD suspicious for a moment that that was the case.) But I’m happy it turned out the way it did. Incredible work on this. Had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

Aw, thank you! I do cheat occasionally by pitching up/down within a percentage point or two to smooth out imperfections in a performance, like I did here, but I try to keep it in my natural range.

Based on the description im assuming the shadow wins which i mean hey o dont really have a problem with. A shadow should be like the person they follow so are there really any draw backs.

If this were me, there’d be a few things running through my head that would prevent me from making any physical contact:
1. The War Devil from Chainsaw Man (possesses a girls body and murders whatever she touches)
2. Alessi and his stand, Set (touching his shadow = no good)
