It's misleading that these computers get reviewed as a "good introduction to the PC gaming hobby" office towers are a very good introduction to working on PCs because parts are relatively cheap like a motherboard for $20-40 if you do an oopsies and is actually how I got into the hobby during COVID

I just built a decent PC from an old HP tower for 150$: i5 6500 - 16gb - 250 ssd + 500 hdd - gtx 960. With 50$ more i could put a rx 580 and it would be much better, but for now it's fine. Hard to build something better under 200$ without starting from an old office pc. Something comparable with new components would be at least 350 to 400 $
I have the Prodesk 600 g3 version of this with an i7 6700 and a 1050 ti and it’s actually pretty good only problem is the vinyl wrap isn’t cut that good
This is funny. I actually just built a Dell Inspiron with an i3 7100, 16GB ram and an RX550 4GB for $100 😂 Oh and it came with a 21in 1080p monitor. Old lady sold the system bundle stock for $30. $50 for the RX 550, $15 for 8 mire gigs of ram and another $15 on an SSD. Considering I also have Wi-Fi and onboard Bluetooth, I'd say I got about all you could get for that much.

I watched some walking tours of Philippine slums and they had places for people to use computers/play games and I wonder if this is the type a lot of them use. Plus tons of RGB for some reason.
As much as I hate to admit it, same. I have a 7040 MT with a busted up front held together with super glue. It came to me broken but for $40 I couldn’t complain.
that monitor is great, the glow isnt that bad and got a matte finish to it that is nice to look at all day... i got one for my pc after using them on the office
It was bottlenecking lol. The GPU usage was tanking to 20% when it stuttered. I had the same problem on an i5-3330 with a 1050 ti in New World. I upgraded to an i7-8700 and the stuttering like this completely stopped. I'm surprised they didn't notice that was the problem. The GPU from what I looked up is too weak for that CPU. 5% is normal, 0% is perfect, this configuration is at 39% bottleneck. Not good.

If u are spending 700$. Decide what GPU uare going for. Price for GPU should be between 300-400$. Other compnents are decided when you know the remaining $

I have a Bto computer. looks similar inside just missing the WD Blue thing. currently making noise from the fan inside the grey box next to the GPU. and yes the GPU heats up quick. Had to guy cause my Acer stopped turning on.
It's a shame that this setup suffers from a lot of overheating, missing cables on delivery, and crashes at 62 degrees, according to the reviews. You can get great performance BUT only until the PC shuts off.
for that specs it is solid for light games especially netease games and farlight 84 or any kind chinese games like crossfire and pointblank by the way but if heavy titles its not good valorant is ok too play that is the most games always play in our country in ph community
Sometimes buying a PC it’s like if it’s used then it’s going to be bad sometimes or if you want to download game and doesn’t have enough storage and that’s gonna be a pain

The CPU and RAM needs to be fast enough to take advantage of it, also your powersupply needs to have the proper amount of connections AND power to support the new upgrade, and it will only make sense if your monitor can display the actual FPS improvement
You're not wrong that single channel ram can cause stuttering but that's not the issue... The CPU is dropping below the minimum frequency of 3.2ghz and not even boosting. Its supposed to boost to 3.6ghz and not drop below 3.2ghz.. Its a bios setting that is messed up. If you watch the boost clocks while they are testing CS 2 you can clearly see it..
i5 6500 should run 3,6 GHz Turbo. This PC is running between 2,6 - 3,2 GHz (base clock) Some performance loss there =) Never stop these videos guys, really enjoying them !

500 series gpus on amd stopped being supported a few months back. If you installed the latest AMD drivers then you might run into issues. I think the last stable driver for 500 series was 23.8.2. If you installed that driver you woulda had a better experience

Depends on the rest of your platform, what CPU do you got? What kind of RAM do you got and in what configuration? Do you run multiple programs at once that may impact performance? Do you have a monitor which will take advantage of the higher FPS a newer GPU could provide you if the rest of your system supports it?
Your better off with something else better than this junk, these PCs are not worth anything and we're only a last resort during COVID price hikes and inventory issues but since that is is in the past there is no reason for these PCs but only for a very young audience
If you just wanna play forrnite and call of duty for that price just get an series s u not beating the performance for under 300 bucks and u could still use mouse and keyboard for certain games

i bought one of these from sj for the wife, i5-8500 32g ram 512 m.2 1 tb hdd, they sent me a broken monitor had to get msi afterburner to run the gpu fans, I ending up drilling hoes in the case right over the gpu fan and got the temps down to the 60c area. radeon software would not work properly but msi got the gpu fan running, gpu was running 83c till i drilled holes in the case, they choked off the air flow with that rgb panel they put on the front. its usable now but sj computers suck and i would never buy from the again. they wanted me to send them back a broken monitor and prove it was broken before they would send me a new one, i sent photos of the broken one i told them shove your monitor up your a$$ and went to walmart and bought one, i regret buying from them but for what the wife does its a decent pc, i just overpaid thinking i would get a complete working system, we only use the pc and the mouse pad. LMAO.
Thats all I expected from a refurbished low end office PC. Which the seller probably picks up for next to nothing and tries to pass off as a gaming PC with slight upgrades but certainly isn't gaming ready.
Seriously, I have much better mouses and keyboards on hand and a better monitor most likely. Would this be a good quick and dirty "cheap" upgrade until I finish the build I want to do?

CS2 has lots of stuttering issues anyway... Not surprised they showed on this machine.

Judging by the Superbowl commercial, it's not TEE-moo, it's TEH-moo.
The i5 6500 base clock is 3.2 ghz and your pc is dropping below that to 2600-2700 that's your issue guys..
