The first time I have seen someone genuinely smile while changing a ruptured tire. My first flat tire was in Oregon. It was pouring rain. Glad to see that learning to change a tire can be a good experience. I looked liked a drowned animal after getting the spare on. Glad to see you posting videos and still going. Great story telling as always.

One thing too many people ignore when adjusting the tire pressures on a vehicle is the air pressure in the spare tire. Ignore it enough and you wind up with a flat spare tire when you need it. Not a good feeling.
Thank you for taking us along on your journey. Sorry, you've hit a rough patch in life. Car troubles, the biking accident. Adapt, and overcome. My tip: campfire Dutch oven, cooking over an outdoor fire, incredible soups and casseroles
When you can't get the tire off put 3 of the lug nuts back on a good finger tight. Lower the truck back the ground. Drive forward a foot or so and hit the brakes hard. Then jack the truck back up normally. The tire will now come right off.

I bet you found out that those new tires are LOUDER on the highway - aren't they !!! The aggressive tread will do that. Did you know to look at the date code on the sidewall of the OLD tires ? ( the tire dealer could have showed you where it was and how to read it ) Even if they had good tread, they still could have had dry rotted sidewalls - that was one of the reasons for Paul Walkers death.

You loosen the lugnuts while it's not jacked up or the wheels will turn freely and you can not loosen the lugnuts. The wheels will just go around and around.

Everyone should know: " HOW TO USE A TIRE PLUG KIT THE RIGHT WAY" These plugs can fill a tire hole so you dont need a new tire. This will save you tons of 💰💰🤑

A full-size spare is just a regular tire so yes you can drive on it like any tire- but then you do need another spare!

On a relatively flat road, I would think no air pressure adjustment would be needed. Those tires are made for it!

Amazing how coddled todays youth is. I was not allowed to drive until I knew how to change a tire, and trouble shoot engine , transmission issues.

Never heard tell of running 18psi in a truck tire. Sounds like a good way to break belts
