Oh thank you so much, you explain making this so easy. I’m trying to make this for my grandson who will be 4 very soon (2weeks time) so in going to try & make this for him, he is a small 4 y/old. The only yarn I’ve got is some neutral & navy cotton Annette Erikson eco cotton. I thought this best as we are in Spring going into Summer here in Western Australia 🇦🇺 im going to use the 77 sts. Fingers crossed this will work, the cotton says to use a 5mm knitting needle, im coping well with the 4mm crochet hook. So far im up to doing the neck. I’ve done the cord & im on my rounds on the neck. Will let you know how I go. 🥰💖🖐️😁💗🇦🇺

I'm using a 5 mm hook, I completed the collar (71 sts) for a 24 1/2" head circum. now I'm stuck and could really use your help figuring out what the other numbers are for the body and sleeve. I don't have access to my grandson to measure him but I do have a 1X sweat shirt I can measure.

Hi Simona. I love your tutorials but I am a little confused at 30.50. You say continue until you have 8 rows. Then you jump to row number 2 ( of the yoke I think). Can you clarify what happens after 8 rows. Hope that makes sense!
hi Simone, I am Diana the one who made the comment before this one And so I’ve noticed that after the eight rows of the neck, you’re coming in after the second row of the yolk and you didn’t tell us where to start with the yoke. So there’s missing portions of your video. I am stuck at the eight rows and don’t know where to go from here. I love your videos. You are wonderful and I love how detailed you are, but this video is really confusing to me, I got stuck, trying to make the seam straight, and I still didn’t do that right and now I don’t know what to do for the yolk because there’s portions left out of your video. Hey Simone, the part after 8 rows, you directly went on the second or third row of the yoke. How the first row of yoke is done is missing and I can't go further. Worst thing is that I was requested by someone to make one for her son. Now I am clueless as to how do I go further. Awesome way of teaching and the pattern, but I am distressed due to the missing part and am embarrassed.😢

Then you chain one and a half double crochet in the same stitch. That is not working for me each time around. My line is slanted and it’s very frustrating. I’m gonna pull it out once more and this will be my sixth time and I’m gonna try with a chain two then have double crochet the same stick and do that each round, I did notice that after you did the first round and told us to do the chain one with a half double crochet the same stitch you met us back after the eighth row and then said it was the second row and then you put a half crochet in the chain one stitch. It was very confusing to me. I could not get it down. I could not follow and my line 5 times have been crooked. Please help if you get my message in time if not, I’m just going to make it with a crooked line
What can you do to leave off the tie in the neck. They stopped using them in sweat jackets in the US because kids were going on sliding boards and getting the strings caught and it was choking them. I love the colors with the blue so cute.
