havin´ valentino oud essence ... very niché quality for a designer price! ... even if am not a fan of oud anymore, am glad i bougt it because they are all discontinued and will never appear on the shelf again.
The Oud Essence is great with layering with other Valentino scents such as uomo. You now have to get the Musc Essence
Cartier is best.

I have two of the three. The Pasha is good! One of the better recent releases. The Valentino has a great opening and the goes barnyard on my skin for about 15-20 mins and then some elements from the opening come back. It is solid and I am glad I have it. I also have the Musc Essence and “Donna” which is marketed for Women but definitely Unisex.
Nice to see you stop by! Think Musc is next for me from the line.
Oud Essence & Musk Essence are sooo underrated (

For me Oud Essence close to TF Oud Wood, like brother from another mother. Musk Essence I like little bit more, smooth white florals, that’s my #1 “go to bed💤” fragrance

Nice video, as always, Marc. I was more interested in the Valentino Musc Essence and am getting a sample of it to see how it is. While not having a lot of reviews, people do seem to love that one a lot. As far as the Pasha goes, it is a great scent and on a strip, I get a lot of the boozy elements of the fragrance (which I "think" is a combo of rum and cognac or rum and bourbon) and the sweeter side with the tonka / vanilla aspects.
However, on my skin...it's another one that doesn't work for me. It is a sandalwood and resin bomb on me from the early opening through the mid and it smells, well, dusty on me, like I'm in the middle of a sawmill or on a dirt-filled road in the Old West or something. Once it gets to the drydown, the fragrance levels out and smells better, but I can't get around the introduction and mid-early drydown. So much stuff seems to fizzle out on my skin with these releases that don't contain floral components or deep sweet notes (which reflect very well on my skin). Anyways, I'm looking forward to the "Pop the Cherry" on Pasha.
Coming from someone who has blind bought valentino uomo noir absolut....Question is how different is valentino uomo noir absolut oud essence compared to the plain valentino uomo noir absolut?? If the 2 musc and oud essence are layering fragrances do you REALLY need oud essence or why not buy the plain noir absolut and layer another oud based fragrance?? If you look online you ll find that supposedely the base of these fragrances are different but it seems to be its just a different top note???

I got the pasha for my dad and I have the valentino. I scooped it up as soon as I heard they were getting axed.
I knew you would love the Cartier, it's so well done and very high quality.
It's ment to be a limited edition so im very glad i got myself a bottle.
I initially got a 10ml, and instantly knew i had to get a bottle.
By the way, dunno if you know.. but they discontinued Roadster!!! 😵😵😵

I came for Oud Essence, but I stayed for the cute bear.
I did a TH-cam review on the Oud Essence and Musc Essence last month. I like both of them but I think the Musc Essence is a little bit better

Why are you buying so much shit fragrances? What happened to Robes08 high quality reviews. Anything under 100 is synthetic junk.
