Hello! I am a 20's years old, but I am open minded when it comes to fragrances and aromas. I have found this fragrance on a good price, but I am not sure if I would like this fragrance. If it's useful as a guide, I like parfums like Tom Ford Ombré Leather and Oud Wood. I hope you or everyone can help me to decide to buy or not this fragrance. Thanks!
😯 Ohhh Joy, I am thrilled to see you review this Valentino Noir Absolu Oud Essence! ✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼...I was actually gifted this a few years ago...I generally love darker, spicy and woody fragrance profiles ( for example, Amouage Interlude Man, John Varvatos Dark Rebel, Encre Noire A L'Extreme, these are all great)...but I just can't wear this Valentino Noir Absolu Oud Essence... I have tried several times in the cold weather of the NorthEast United States 😕...it just reminds me too much of cigarette smoke/ash off my skin. Definitely NOT a blind buy for anyone...Great review, as always though! Certainly an interesting fragrance profile...I think Bentley For Men Absolute has a similar vibe, but much more wearable and an enjoyable blend of fragrance notes.
I have this one and noir absolute tucked away in my closet along with all the other discontinued frags I've collected. This one is just ok. I think it's meant to be used as a base to layer with the others in the line if you want to add an oud feel to the others. Same with the musk version but I opted not to pick that one up.

I asked you before about any advise on trying to get a decant of rouge 666 from project alternatives. I’m in the the U.S. and haven’t had any luck finding any here. I tried purchasing directly but for some reason I was not able to complete the transaction. I reached out to support but never was able to make it happen. I know that you have many followers and might know of someone who might have this frag that might be willing to sell me a decant. Any help or advise would be appreciated. Be well brother.

This scent really underrated! I layer this one with Oud Wood and it’s a wonderful combo. This fragrance smells expensive
I layer this with Valentino Uomo Intense and Uomo Noir Absolu as my signature scents!

Jovoy Private Label is what this frag ripped off/was inspired by. Its less dark but very similar to the Noir Absolu.
