Cette artiste a une belle voix et chante bien. Elle est d'une nature enjouée ce qui fait du bien par ces temps-ci. De plus, elle est jolie. Merci pour tant de qualités.
Lucille Starr, the first woman inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, has died at the age of 82. She was also Canada's first female country singer to sell one million records R-I-P Lucille
St.boniface native Lucille Starr with a classic song she makes us proud that she was raised in the St Boniface area of Winnipeg and became a huge star all around the world.
One day I walked into my high school to find a huge poster in a heart shape with my picture smack in the middle. AND OF COURSE "JOLIE JACQUELINE" written all around. I was soooo embarrassed bc at 15, nobody had ever told me I was "jolie" 😊 Now I'm almost 75, and the "jolie thing" is still going around! 😅
My medical tec for the Chemo is named Jacqueline as well, and she is utterly charming, I played his for her and she had never heard it before, so we’ve now had a bonding moment…..all is good
I hope the suburb of St Boniface honours their native daughter with a statute she was born and raised in st boniface and moved to BC but she never forgot her French canadian roots in manitoba.
I love this video. My sister left this on my myspace comments a while back! And somewhere we have a tape of me singing this as a little girl!! Thanks so much for posting! 5 stars and favoriyed! =)
I`ve always admired her Bilingual language...i`m french & english,my mom has one of her albums..i`ve came soo close to meet her in person in windsor ontario, canada & i missed it by 2 days,..Bummer..
Lucille was doing a concert and actually patted my dad on his bald head,my mom looked like she wanted to kill them both, the term “Lucille Starr” wasn’t spoken much around my house when I was growing up.
My godmother was British but I was born in Montreal Quebec. I will admit I am not a fan of my name but my Mom wanted to call me Kim...I prefer Jacqueline. And many of my friends just use Jac which I do like. 😁
Desperately looking for a karaoke version-download! Try go get this song for such a long time! I want to sing it at the karaoke bar!!! Anyone any suggestions?

I just found this song. It was my parents favourite song and they named me after it in 1963. My name is Jacqueline.
Really. And to think i thought it was Jolie.
How funny, the same happened to me. Born in 1964. they named me.... Jacqueline
I was born in 1966 and my name is Jacqueline too :)
For those named after the girl in the song this is your song done by Franco Manitoba native Lucille Starr.
