    Your video brought back happy memories including me crawling over the narrowest part of the ridge. Sadly we only had one car and the trudge back up Glencoe was a trial in itself. Well done both. Looking forward to the next episode :-).

    I guess this is the closest I’ll ever come to climbing this one Dan. F*** T***. Hats off to you. You made it look so easy. Love your channel mate, but I think I’ll stick to your more easier recommendations. 👍

      @DanMunroMan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hahaha yeah it was a really tough one, some really sketchy moments! We were really lucky we had a nice dry day for it! Not a chance id do it if it was even the smallest bit wet! Thanks for watching the channel and commenting! It really helps me out

    Sweet video, looks like you had great fun up there. I've not done Glencoe yet but it's high on the to do list, conquered some of my acrophobia in the Cuillin recently so hopefully it stands me in good stead for tackling the Aonach Eagach ridge. Trying to imagine the banter and expletives that were cut from the video, especially on the descent, hehe. Good stuff, cheers, Andy 👍.

      Thanks Andy! Oh i still need to tackle the cullins! They look absolutely stunning, i cant wait! And hahaha yeah you got that right! I needed to keep the video PG😂

    Superb Dan, agree with you, best video yet and see your now on the big boy munros, this video definitely gives you a feel for the challenges on the ridge and if anyone is unsure if they can do it your video would help greatly, agree with you around the scrambling/rock climbing definetly adds an edge to the day and something I really enjoy.
    Regarding the descent route you took, love it, many a time I found myself off piste and rolling down hills, thats what its all about

    • @DanMunroMan
      @DanMunroMan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aw thank you! Yeah plenty of action in the video for it to be entertaining! And yeah glad we are on the same page! The rock scrambling is a lot of fun! And have you taken that route before? I wish i took the bridal path😂

    This looks fun. I only climbed my first Munro yesterday (Mayar). It might take me a while before I'm scrambling though, but I'd like to do it one day.

    • @DanMunroMan
      @DanMunroMan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mayar was one of my first munros too! Corrie fee is gorgeous! And once you start doing more you will want to do the scrambling ones

    Top effort lads, great video with top tips, definitely on my list to do, although I don't think the Mrs is too keen after seeing some of the descending footage 😂

      Thanks Anthony! Yeah its not for the faint of hearts! But its definitely my favourite munros so far!

    Hi Dan. I’ve recently discovered your channel. Love your videos. We were up in Glencoe a few weeks ago doing Stob Dearg and Stob na Broige on the Buachaille. The Aonach Eagach is hopefully on our list to do when we are up on holiday again next year.

    • @DanMunroMan

      @@DanMunroMan Excellent, get there early though, especially if you go at the weekend, the car park gets very busy. It’s a tough walk up to the bealach, but once up there, the route to each is very straight forward.

      @@DAoutdoors okay thanks for the tip, might have to camp over and do that one in the early morning then

    Hi guys, thanks for posting this great video. IMHO it would be great if in the audio you gave the names of the tops instead of ‘first Munro’ ‘second Munro’ ‘ final Munro’. I’ve walked this route back in the day and think it’s good to give the hills their proper names. Just my thoughts.

    The bridle path you mention, have you been back and returned that way? I followed the same Steven Fallon descent and it looked well used but after the scree as you say there was no path and the going was devilish, my quads are also still burning. Never saw the stoney path you refer to.

    • @DanMunroMan
      @DanMunroMan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was just shown your post on bagging the munros, and i am glad someone else has experienced the hell we went through😂 just coming up to every ledge unsure if you can get down. And no i haven’t been back since, the path was much nearer the end, but yes my quads were dead for days after also! 😂

    Your videos are awesome.
    There is only one thing I wish you did differently though.
    It really kills the mood to see this beautiful scenery, with some zoomer music on the background.
    Is there any chance you'd consider putting some more traditional stuff instead?

    • @DanMunroMan
      @DanMunroMan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment Bruno, i love constructive criticism cause im still learning the youtube craft, what sort of music would you recommend, are you meaning like classical music etc? Or what sort of traditional stuff?

    • @DanMunroMan
      @DanMunroMan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As well in my older videos i used to much music, so i use a lot less music now which is better

    Nice vid. Caught the essence of the ridge. If you can do that and enjoy it you must be looking forward to the cullins! Tell me again was that don't take the bridle path? 😂

    • @DanMunroMan
      @DanMunroMan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hahahaha for your own moral sanity don’t copy us😂😂 and well i heard you need to do some/most of the Cullins with a guide so i will need to look into it a bit more closer to the time but yeah im very excited!

      @kisilvan 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DanMunroMan yeah cullins good to do first time with a guide at least. Inn pinn needs ropes tbh. I'm member of FB group 'all things cullin' run by a guide Adrian Trendall Worth a join of you're interested as loads of useful info there. 🙂

      And an RGU one!!! If you like scrambling and Glencoe look up Curved Ridge and Crawberry Tower as it's really nice. Plenty of scrambling involved. Also, replying to your other comments, you don't need a guide on most black Cuillins. I'd say Inn Pinn is the only one. The rest is totally doable with skill level you present. Great video.
      Greetings from Aberdeen;)

      @@mateuszpalczynski782 okay ill go look them up, and aw really is that so?? I might just pay for a guide just for the in pinn then, saves me lots of pennies thanks for the info
