I will forever appreciate you for showing raw emotion. In 2015, I lost my best friend due to domestic violence, and I was in a very rough place. When "Blonde" came out, I don't think I ever cried more than I ever had. This album has helped me with coming to terms with what happened, and has helped me realize that my friend wouldn't want me to constantly grief about his passing, but rather, remember the amazing memories we had. We, as a society, need to stop this social stigma where men can't show emotion, and you, are helping towards breaking down that stigma. Thank you for reacting to this album, even if a lot of it didn't click with you, I will FOREVER appreciate you!!

Something I will always stand by is that people that hate on frank ocean haven't had certain emotional experience almost required to appreciate his music. Even I didn't like him at first but after emotional maturing experiences he's my favorite of all time

Not just his chat, I've seen other music streamers' chats are like this, it's just a fact that there's people who only listen to one thing and clown other people for stepping outside their comfort zone
i really think the album holds a lot of meaning, just the way the music alone can make you feel is very important. Not only does it sound amazing. but the lyricism and the story’s being told are moving i think i lot of people tend to look past the lyrics in music and just stick to what’s considered ‘cool’ music.

The first time I listened to solo I was hanging with my homie in his car and he played that song, I just got off drugs and out of rehab I was having a couple beers and it kind of just felt like everything over the year had hit me, all the fights with family, all the lost friends, all the break ups, and all the people I hurt while doing drugs. At one point I did feel solo without realizing I had the biggest supporting cast around me, idk that song will always have a special place in my heart means a lot to me.

Blonde is an album that will grow anyway. The first listen of Blonde will never be the best one. I listened to it for the first time in the year it was release and I still put it on every month and tracks like White Ferrari still trigger the same emotions.

last year, frank was my #1 artist on spotify with 14,000 minutes listened. His music was there at the start of one of the greatest relationships i believe i'll ever have. And now his music is there as a reminder of what me and that person no longer have. Regardless. the music has brought me to tears nearly every time since our separation. Emotions are such a beautiful thing and this album does a wonderful job at portraying love and heartbreak. Blonde is for all of us.
“Blond” has a special ability to become better after the second or third time listening to it. Tbh, I understood the whole meaning and the beauty of the album after watching a lot of review videos where it was fully analysed and explained. So that’s why it’s okay to not enjoy the “Blond” at first listening, but if you give it some time, even the “boring” songs will blossom.

godspeed moved me so much my great grandma she’s passing soon bc of her health and ik it’s coming and this song made me so emotional and i will never feel this again when i tell u i’ve never cried to a song this hurt bad but the way it shapes life it affects me because i know it’s coming and the tables ready and she can call this home and i won’t feel the same without her i’m genuinely crying

I remember this girl i messed with back in 2017 was telling me how much she loved this album and frank ocean in general. the first time i listened to it back then i really didn’t enjoy it. i was 18 first time hearing it, now i’m 25 and i realized she was right the whole time. one of my favorite albums and artists of all time.
