You should watch the movie song remains the same it’s their live concert from Madison square garden in 1973 I think that’s where this videos from
Moment after moment of brilliance
They are musicians
They are story tellers
And they are the best I’ve ever heard
Just so you know, John Paul Jones on keyboard is also playing the bass lines on foot pedals. Now that’s talent. Four outstanding musical legends.
Didn’t know that…. Amazing
JPJ is the most ignored, disrespected member of a "super group" in history, I think -- and I'm not sure that Page & Plant didn't contribute to that because he was hired out of an add for a bass player they posted in the papers, so I read back in the day, & wasn't a previous part of their musical circle as BONZO was to some extent I think .......
@@rogerbianchini2982 I think JPJ was a very well known and respected session musician with tons of work under his belt before joining LZ, just like Page, so it's hard to believe their paths didn't cross somewhere at some point and Page didn't know about him at least on some level. Honestly, I think JPJ as a person just didn't like to be in the spotlight all that much. He had the least rockstar-type personality of all of them. Also he was the only one of them classically trained as a musician, I think, which sort of made him a smarty-pants and nerd figure among them. lol
@@rogerbianchini2982
I wouldn’t say that he was disrespected, but I would say that he was ignored or forgotten, and undeservedly so.
@@rogerbianchini2982 Hey mate. Maybe JPJ is underrated by the casual listener, but Zep fans don't. Anyone paying attention doesn't underrate him you could say.
He was hired out of an ad, yes, but it was not a change or addition to Zep, it was a part of the creation. He is as instrumental as all of them are to Zep's greatness.
Cheers.
Robert Plant (singer), Jimmy Page (Guitar) John Paul Jones (Bass guitar, keyboards, mandolin, etc.) John Bohnam (drums... his son Jason played drums for Heart's tribute to Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center Honors playing Stairway to Heaven)
Greatest band of all time its not even close..you can make a case every one in the band is a goat in their position..some bands have great guitarists..a great vocalist..a great drummer..this band had them all
This Led Zeppelin`s version of Since I've Been Loving You is simply magical.
Until this video, I’d not realized how expressive your face can be. I’ve watched this video for >40 years, but your facial expression and reaction so beautifully summarizes it that it’s almost poetic.
I was born just before Zep formed and grew up with their music in the background of life. I listened to every album they ever made and still remember the day they disbanded. The world will never see their like again. /Salute
Me too...I was born in 1960
I guess you haven't heard of greta von fleet? KEKW
Salute !! Was born in 74, perhaps a bit too late. Love ZEP, all 4 of them and will jam till my dying ___ ..

You lucky old buggers ! ✌️👍
probably the greatest concert video recording in the history of rock and roll.
This probably my favourite Led Zeppelin song of all time 🔥🔥🔥
So glad you selected this version of the 73’ performance The official version is different and doesn’t show as much of Robert and doesn’t start with Robert talking. Loved your reaction. Seeing the joy and happiness in your face as you watched brought a huge smile to my heart. Hope you have a wonderful day
I agree. But the one thing the other version has going for it is we don't need to look at John Paul Jones' bad wig for half of Jimmy's solo like in this one. LOL. But I do agree, this is the better version.
The one currently on the official page is the dated and cut version from the theatrical release. The version you are referring to is from the newer, remastered releases that came out on Blu-Ray. The remastered version is 10000x better I don’t understand why the official page won’t replace theirs with the better remastered version.
Agreed, whenever I see people react to the "official" version, it annoys me, because this version is so much better. This version is truly iconic.
@@zosomoso I am sure for some sort of legal reasons. Sigh. ironically, the newer remastered version is the "old" version in my head now. LOL.
@@Tarkus_ 100%
I saw them in.1973 in San Francisco. Nothing beats their live performances. Robert and Jimmy can really cut loose. Good memories. R.I.P. BONZO
Sooo jealous! I graduated HS in 75, so I was too young for concerts! I love Zep and have since I was a teen. I made up for not seeing concerts after graduationn though. 😉
I was there that day too… June 2, 1973 Kezar Stadium. A day I will never forget
On june 2nd 2023 i played the star spangled banner at kezar stadium for my high school graduation. Exactly 50 years after zeppelins concert at the same place. Sadly kezar doesn’t look like how it used to in 1973 but still pretty cool regardless
Where was the venue? Polo Fields Golden gate park? Thank you
@@michaellittlewood3032 - Kezar Stadium
To me as ex-dj seeing a young human being getting delighted with the magic of Led Zeppelin, is simply amazin, congratulations.
Fifty years ago yesterday. Filmed live July 29th 1973.
The video is taken from the Led Zeppelin movie called The Song Remains The Same, absolutely amazing performance 👏👏👏
I was at that show in the garden
We know.
The best live version of this song, period, in my opinion!
💯Only one of the greatest performances EVERY💯
This might be the best live performance ever. The way the band plays and improvises together is inspiring. It should be required viewing for every musician. Great reaction, Bisscute!
I was at the concert. Greatest show i ever saw.
Damn dude I’m jealous. That would have been the greatest night of my life.
I'm jealous too!! Always said if I could choose one time and place in history to be, I would choose MSG '73
If i could go back in time that's where i would go. Check out the live version of dazed and confused. 25 minute guitar solos.
@@stevepas1 seen it about 1000 times! Got the whole concert on Blu Ray..
I am insanely jealous. But do you not think the downside is that this is as good as it gets and any band you go to see you will compare to this and they will pale in comparison to this
The bluesy soul of Zeppelin ❤... I'm about to lose my worried mind...
Congrats, You got to witness one of the greatest guitar solo's ever. Also, one of the greatest vocal performances. Love your channel!
Their blues influence is just oozing throughout this song. They are expressing themselves openly in this song. Side note: I need to get a jacket like J.P.J is sporting in this performance ;) haha
Robert is 24 here with a ton of swaggggg ...
I saw this movie ("The Song Remains the Same") on the big screen back in the day. It was epic then, and I still consider it one of the best concert recordings ever (though the movie is a bit more than just concert footage). And this track in particular is probably my favorite Zeppelin recording ever. The entire band is so much in sync, but the way Plant and Page play off each other is truly special. It's almost like they're two parts of the same person.
I really must compliment this very enchanting fine young beautiful young lady who always appreciates great music from the Led Zeppelin you can see the reaction in her face that she's totally loving the great music from the legends of rock & blues it's always a great pleasure to see her present all her shows as she has a real interest in great music as we all do keep up the great work you are great 😊❤
Close your eyes hear it and feel the experience
So happy to see this pop up! I recommended it ages ago.
This is an absolute lesson in Blues/Rock 😍
this never gets old
I grew up on Zeppelin back in the day and they just simply rock. They were so diverse and brilliant with their music. All of them were musical and creative geniuses. They were groundbreaking and ahead of their time. Just brilliant. Rain Song, just sahyin'...
Great reaction, this version is in my top 10 favourite Led Zeppelin tunes, they were on top form when they played this concert, the crowd are mesmerised and even the security guard looked awestruck, every tune they play at this concert sounds awesome, The song remains the Same, Rain Song, Celebration Day, Dazed and Confused is spectacular and Whole Lotta Love is an absolute treat...
Led Zeppelin had the greatest drummer in history john henry bonham, i discovered this band at 11yrs old im now 59 believe me this the greatest rock and roll band of all time
This is from the film "The Song Remains the Same" Back in the late 70s early 80s they showed this at the theater!
Simply and f****** awesome.
Fifty years later and still making young women tingle. Swag, my guys....swag.
One of their most iconic live recorded performances! Showing their musical prowess! If you want to see and hear John "Bonzo" Bonham, check out Moby Dick...he is the architect every rock drummer is measured by!! Led Zeppelin is one of, if not THE most best rock bands ever!! They had it all!!
You can see that everyone there is high as hell haha! Even the NYC police are stunned.
9:06 ''Hell ya this girl knows'' I have always thought that's his wife Maureen. Anyway it sure looks a lot like her. She is in the movie during Roberts video vignette. Also his son Karac who passed away in 77. Robert is 6'1 so not that small. I used to watch Song remains the same 2-3 times a day on vhs after school. Had every move and gesture down as I sang along.
Blast from the past. So cool to see a young person enjoy it
Love how you said...."Oh and he smokes? Oh Robert no". Led Zeppelin did everything. They were one of the original bands to enjoy the excesses of the rock and roll lifestyle. Many legendary stories about them. But they were rock gods at the time so......
Check out In My Time Of Dying (live). Another jaw drop performance and one of my favs.
Half the population smoked in the 70's and it didn't kill all of us off.
Mil veces abre escuchado y visto ésta canción y cada vez me parece mejor. La más grande banda de rock !!! Excelente tu reacción!!! Besos desde Argentina !!!
You must hear When the Levee breaks . Great Zeppelin song.
Talk about a fiery blues burner. 🔥 😎
I love watching someone else experience what I watched in 1976 when this came out. It is from their movie The Song Remains the Same but the concert footage is from 1973 at Madison Square Garden
You were admiring his stage presence and performance.... LOL That was not all you were admiring!
It should be noted that Robert Plant is not tiny- he stands 6'1" (185.42 cm),
so the fact he could (and for the most part still can) hit high notes is amazing.
Greatest Rock Band of all time! Pure magic! 🤘👍
I'm extremely happy you got to my suggestion from a while back. I knew you would love this and your reaction was priceless. You need to continue the LZ journey by listening to several of the tracks from Physical Graffiti. 10 Years Gone, In the Light to start with. Real bangers!
Everybody needs the light! ooooooo-oooooo-yay-yeah! ... I still love to play the harpsichord part on my acoustic guitar, as well as the rest of the song... and yea, Ten Years Gone is also a favorite of mine to play on guitar and sing along.
Welcome young lady, to what us boomers grew up with.Your enthusiasm is priceless.
Thanks for reacting to Since I've been Loving You, Bisscute. You're the best! 👏
Best band ever ! Brilliant reaction 👍
What more is their to say, the video performance says it all!
They are simply amazing!! Magical musicians!
Led Zeppelin are one of the hreatest rock n roll/blues rock legends in history. Im glad you enjoyed it
Love the reaction. You look like you are feeling this song like it was made to make you feel. Such a brilliant band of fantastic musicians. Cheers
Great band fantastic stage presence , Please also listen too 10 years after , another great band
God bless from Scotland 🙏.
The girl reacts so emotionally that I wanted to watch this concert on DVD again. Thanks!
This is great. I think you would enjoy The Lemon Song by them.
This song hands down taught me how to Treat and Totally understand/relate and SATISFY A WOMAN
Another great Zeppelin song the ocean
Great choice Miss Bisscute. Live performance Is always better. Loved your reaction as usual❤
This is some of the best live footage from that time. Awesome band. Led Zeppelin 😎👍
Best of luck to you Bisscute on your Chanel! 🙏
What a great choice. This song is one of my favorites of all time and Jimmy is a God of guitar. So glad you love it too.
This version is amazing!
You should try the studio version and try to listen for the squeaking of John's bass drum pedal. It gives it a more real character....
I was fortunate to see them live 2 times in Indianapolis, 1st time in 1969 Whole Lotta Love days, and 1973 the year this may have been captured. I've been twice blessed to have lived this long 🤙
I've watched a lot of your reactions and the way the blues affects you is unlike any other...it possesses your soul and it is a beautiful thing to see.
Applause is right!
🎶 Led Zeppelin 🎶 great choice !
Excellent live performance of a great song off Led Zeppelins third album. ❤❤
Time for you to react to Thank You from Led Zeppelin. My favorite of all.❤
This is the blues at its best.
I remembering them from when I saw them May 10, 1969 it was their 1st American tour
Your appreciation for plants stage presence is very sensuous I must say 🔥
16 hour shifts are brutal. I was doing 17 hour shifts, 5 nights a week for about 9 months. Would get home on weekends and sleep 16-18 hours, wake up for half a day on Sunday. Had to do all my washing, shopping and other assorted misc in that half a day, as well as fit in recreation. Damn near killed me, I don't think I was fully sane by the end of it. In fact I know I wasn't. I'm normally a very chill guy but on 3 separate occasions near the end of that 9 months I pulled a knife on other drivers during fits of road-rage. Thank god they got back in their cars and drove off. I still don't know what I would've done if they hadn't. Fatigue makes you crazy.
Can't believe it's been 50 years. I remember going to midnight movies and the choice was between Song Remains The Same or Rocky Horror Picture Show.. I always chose Zep.
"Hell yeah, this girl knows..." Just like you do, Bisscute!! ROCK ON, BEAUTIFUL!!!
Next one you have to do is from 73 also : The Song Remains The Same / The Rain Song. Live from this same series of concerts (Madison Square Garden, 1973). The entire band at their best. Page's guitar playing is otherworldly.
great reaction biss!! i had the pleasure of seeing these guys 21 times and i believe they played this song every time. it is in my top 5 zep songs. best live band ever hands down!!!!!!!
21 times?! Holy shit! I’m surprised you remembered the exact amount ;) I guess it’s hard to forget the mighty Zeppelin.
@@PeterTea 15 times madison square garden
3 times philly spectrum
3 times nassau coliseum
@@zeplica2004 That’s awesome. Any particular favorite show?
@@PeterTea one of the shows in nassau coliseum. they played 4 hours and 20 minutes and did 6 encores!!! after 3 encores the lights came on and plant told them to turn them off and zep would pay any fine that a curfew would break. that night bonham did a 31 minute drum solo
@@zeplica2004 wow! I’ve never heard of a 6 encore performance. Talk about being a witness to history! Are there bootlegs of the show?
I love your reaction, it echoed the reactions of all the young ladies I knew in the late '60s and early '70s. Timeless reaction from timeless music. love your channel.....peace and love😎
Thank you so much

I bought my first Led zeppelin album 1in 1969 and my number 1.band since. Im so glad you are loving them. I love your reaction. Love how you were amused buy some of the people in the audience. They were stoned off there asses, just like we used to be when we listened to them. Led zeppelin, in my opinion, is the greatest rock band of all time.
Hey girl led zeppelin best band ever to walk planet earth
enjoying your reaction so much, yeas, what a performance and video, glad you lovd it
now that is ROCK N ROLL. dammm. i even saw you smile a few times. shows how powerful that was
Hello Bisscute. Your reactions are epic and I am fascinated 😊
Top of my List Best of all time GOAt ahh
one of my favs from them. also "all of my love" and "im gonna crawl" or "ten years gone" are my favs
Best reaction ever!,, My Net was down for 3, 4 days and I'm glad to see this one.... Those guys really were Rock Stars.. So, once again great reaction to a great performance.
Can't wait to see this reaction!! ❤
The greatest band ever.
Power Plant is a good way of putting it... Robert does supply a lot energy !
One of the best live performances ever. Thanks for reacting!
You must review the remastered studio version of "Thank You." One of the first songs Robert Plant wrote with Led Zeppelin.
Jimmy Page....was the FOUNDER....the CREATOR.....the GENIUS the LEADER...of Led Zeppelin. He was also the PRODUCER of every Led Zeppelin album. He was the DESIGNER of Led Zeppelin and the CAPTAIN...the GUIDE of their entire musical DIRECTION and SOUNDSCAPE. He was the master ORCHESTRATOR of Led Zeppelin from its beginning to its end.
He wasn't just, " the guitarist " in the band. He was the president, the King, the MASTERMIND of that band.
You're Prob right. Jimmy could've achieved all this with anybody in his band. (sarcasm)
@@snakeinthegrass7443 Your sarcasm is unwarranted. Why? Because of course no, he could not have achieved what he did with just, " anybody " ...not with you or your next door neighbor. Not the point. The point is that Page was the mastermind who CHOSE who HE CHOSE to be in his band. His wisdom and instinct for talent and for picking the exact musicians HE KNEW would create the sound and musical landscape HE had envisioned so clearly...IS the point that is lost on you.
Hopefully you get it now.
@@philosopher0076 Did you "like" your own comment?
Jimmy would be the first to say that Bonham was the best drummer he had ever heard, that JPJ was a brilliant musician, and Robert had the voice, the power and the grit that could give Zeppelin that bluesy swagger nobody else had. Yes, he chose well, and he certainly started out as The Boss, but he quickly learned just how good his choices were....they became a band of four equals, each in his own sphere. He was first among those equals, especially at the mix, but like all great bands, it was made up of four now-legendary musicians, not one plus a supporting cast.
@@gummiesrule88 Page was still the director and producer to the end, 1980.
your musical journey continues nicely my dear, but there is sooooo much more out there!!! keep going!
6:30 did you see the look on the cop's face? 😳
Priceless.😎
I first saw the concert film, "The Song Remains the Same" at a midnight showing. When the film showed some cops getting rough with some fan backstage, my audience got pretty loud and angry. The cops in my theater's hallways backed out of there.....
Listen to "I'm gonna crawl" studio version, the last ever led Zep song.
Led Zeppelin. Possibly the best band ever. Love your reaction videos.
Que gran momento musical fue esto ! Que interpretacion y un grupo que es una leyenda ! Gracias !
