Thank you for the great video! it helped me with the replacement on my 2001 Focus wagon 87000 miles DOHC. Odd that the bolts are different lengths and types. (Short one has a shoulder.) Mine were in opposite places. The shorter one with the shoulder was in the vertical position and heavily corroded due to contact with aluminum. After cleaning them well, I switched locations for them to match yours. Also, I tried to replace the part with the car on drive-on ramps. Didn't work well as not much front to back play. Ended up putting car on jack stands, much better! Thanks again!
I have been working on the focus for 14 years now. years 2000 -05. that mount look good to me unless I did not see something that was broken. its called a torque strut. the trans mount is located under the battery tray . also you should be able to push the engine forward to avoid removing the bracket . I am used to the 03-05 2.0 doch and 2.3 doch thats how I do it on them. maybe this model is different. this model I have not done it on . change all 3 at the same time the pass front is the most common fail on these focuses . trans mount being next. torque struts not so common. if this mount was broken in any way IE torn rubber or so on it should have been shown in the video to the viewers not so easy to see on video.. torque spec 35 ft lbs
Yep just jack the engine up a bit more and no need to remove that stubborn bracket also don't over tighten the bolts like I did today and brake the bolt off when you were already done and have to try and drill out that damn bolt now I'm looking for my welder so I can weld a bracket on lol

Do you know the thread size of the vertical bolt and horizontal bolt ?
@@derekmitt23 probably too late but if you contacted a ford and spoke to their pars department they could help. I got a new bolt last year for £5
I just changed mine 4 hours ago and I didn't remove the bracket. I changed all 3 and it's a much smoother quiet ride.
Any video for a 99 ford contour SE V6 automatic.
How to replace the transmission mount?

Do you guys have a video for a 2013 model?
+Dillon Roundy We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Easy peasy, when you do it..
Pain in the a$$, when I try.. :-)
You don't have to take the bracket off😂
