Pro tip: sit in front of the emergency exit rows. Any all-economy airline will have 11 rows of seats at most in front of the emergency exit rows. The difference between the dense and less dense all economy configurations would be at the back where seats pitch gets reduced. for context, I flew on N547VL and N549VL and while my seat 4A (a non premium but more speed seat) had some room for me being 1.7m tall (I could fit in 4 fingers between my knees and the seatback), row 31 had basically no legroom (only 2 fingers)
Glad I saw this video! We are traveling to Guadalajara Mexico in a few months. I have never been on this airline or Spirit for that matter so I can't compare. The main reason I am taking this it's because this is the only airline that goes direct. I normally use United, but they are more expensive and double the travel time. I will pay extra for the premium seats since I'm saving $$$. Thanks for the review, I will go with open mind and positive vibes. I am glad it is a direct flight.

But with all honestly they are a really really good airline to fly with.. they are super punctual. On time!! The first ride was a bit bumpy not gonna lie & I've learned on that trip it depends on who's flying the plane.. but then again I haven't flown in years so it was new again for me.. but over all volaris gets a 10 out of 10 from.. Believe it or not, VOLARIS is a step-up from Spirit and VivaAerobus (another budget airline headquartered in Mexico). I definitely recommend splurging on the PREMIA seats for future flights, if possible. I normally travel to Mexico through UNITED AIRLINES as I have a credit card with them, but this damn inflation has caused the prices to skyrocket to abnormally high prices just for a One-Way ticket, never mind a Round-Trip! I'll gladly use VOLARIS as a return method back to H-Town this year (MAJOR PROPS to you and your wife for this retrospective, Fellow Houstonian)!
Thank you for this video. I booked a Volaris flight last night Chicago to Mexico City for next February. Super reasonable price, but I know it's goings going to be a budget experience. I HATE Spirit so I'll need to spend the next 4 months getting my mind right for Volaris. As your girlfriend said, don't expect luxury and it will be ok!

volaris is a mexican airline BUT el salvador purchase a few airplane from volaris and keep the name on their plane but the crew is all salvadorians in an other words you use salvadorian airline but if you go to mexico in volaris thats a diffrent issue

We just got our flight tickets canceled from Volaris that we bought through Expedia. During covid was a totally screwed experience that I'll spare you. No idea why our tickets got canceled. I like VivaAirbus wayyyyy more! No problems at all with them.

Pilots are told at what altitude.speed etc etc to fly at by the air controllers,there are dozens of other airplanes in the area although you can't see them,the speed they are flying at can become a disaster in seconds...So although the pilot could have climbed at a faster speed out of the clouds,it was not up to him..

The ground staff acted like they were the only airline in GDL-Mexico and treated us like children when we landed telling us to sit down after a 3-hour flight & the seatbelt lights were off! You guys give this ungrateful airline your money-we will not! 🤬
I used to fly volaris alot back then but now the price package got ridiculous. Your paying top tier for barely one checked bag and and other benefits that aren't really benefits. I used to fly to Tepic from Tijuana for 95 one way and 95 back. Now it's like 250 because someone thats going to obviously going to fly with a luggage and the structure of flying is really stupid. You now pretty much paying for the "Plus".
The reason they give,instructions in Spanish, is because is a salvadorean 💯 %airline.like if you fly southwest, you know everything is gonna be in English

$4 does sound sketchy but Volaris is a legit company. I was very honest in this video about my experience. My flight wasn’t as cheap as yours but it was cheap enough to make me a little scared too.

I’m also going to Guadalajara in a few months. I’m going to purchase the Volaris pass which allows you to fly for free for a whole year.

If you want a good deal. Wait to purchase a volaris purchase in MARCH. They throw sales to celebrate their anniversary. So keep that in mind

I downloaded a season of Flash to my ipad so I could watch it without wifi. I'm used to doing that when I fly Spirit so it was pretty much the same.
