Sabine and Ezra: Their Story

- An elaborate portrait of the Jedi-Mandalorian pair in Star Wars Rebels: Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger. Despite having done a few videos about these two before, I was able to approach it in a different way this time, focusing more on their common insecurities, how they overcame them together, how well they complimented each other and the level of trust and understanding that they have. A huge thank you to Tiya Sircar, Taylor Gray, Dave Filoni and the rest of Lucasfilm Animation for bringing us Sabine and Ezra, and looking forward to seeing them again in future stories.
Music from the John Williams score of the film 'Far and Away', in which the story of two young people who left their homes and worked together to write their own story somewhat mirrors what Sabine and Ezra experienced.

Yes, not every guy and girl character need to end up together romantically, I agree with that. But not in this case, even if it was by accident, these two belong together. How opposite they seem upon meeting versus how much they actually have in common on a much deeper level, these two were made for each other

100% agree that not every guy/girl needs to end up together romantically. I agree with that without a doubt. But Ezra and Sabine have a story arc where they end up totally belonging together. They're so different yet so alike at the same time. I ended up shipping them by accident in a way. 😂
That how they started but even Dave says they had as they evolved through the seasons they came to count and rely on each other that by the end epilogue they need each other.

I don't care if they go romantic or not, from what we've seen, their relationship is one of the most beautiful things in all of Star Wars. So amped to see Filoni is continuing their story, Rebels in general, and really every different story he tells just finds a way of pulling us in the same way... I would hate to believe that the live action movie he directs actually ends all their stories, but with him around, I know he'll always give us stories of the same stuff no matter what it's about.
I can’t wait for their story to continue in the Ahsoka show!!! They belong together!!! I really hope Sabine finds Ezra and then get together!!! 🙏❤️🤞

Thems some good parallels. The Kanan talks about and too the two of them? Hits me in the feels, AND makes me think he knows that life is gonna be much more difficult and hard for the 2 of them than the rest. He knew they needed each other to get back home.

I love these 2, their story and relationship is just so beautiful. I wish they found eachother. Their bond is just amazing, cute and beautiful

These two belong together, they started off so different but grew closer. They trust each other with their lives, they work together so well.
Also my two favorite senses are the one when Ezra meets Sabine's dad, and The last look they give each other in the last episode.
I can't wait to see them back together in the Ahsoka series.
6:12 These two are so damn adorable.
It's interesting to see their "common insecurities" as you put it, and how they both try and hide away from and hide their past from others, since it may be reflected in the fact that they both wear masks. Those stormtrooper helmets of Ezra's were a recurring symbol throughout Rebels, and just like Sabine he's wearing the armour of a faction that has played a part in his troubled past.
I realise that Kanan also starts wearing a mask in Season 3, though that may be more of a necessity from his blindness rather than having anything to do with this theme.
I always asked myself if there actually were a necessity for Kanan to wear a mask. Blind people don't usually use them. Plus he were always going back and forth with it.

And you paralleled the parent/backstory talk scenes from "Gathering Forces" and "Trials of the Darksaber" aaaah. That's one of my favorites.
"I'm afraid of the truth" cutting right to "The truth... is that I left to save everyone." got me right there.
What a great compilation! So well done. The music was perfect, too. My favorite part was at the end with Kanan’s quote, “Ezra and Sabine have each other. They’ll find their way home.” Brilliant. ❤️

To fight the Empire alone..And Ezra walk past Sabine And say goodbye to her.. But Sabine's mother Usra looked with a worried face.. Then Sabine says.. "You're not going alone I'm going with you."
Sabine doesn't want to lose Ezra.. all I see is not siblings and are more than friends it is a no secret that Sabine cares about Ezra more than anybody else.

Good job Space Family. This video was really very well done. Your heart goes out to these two. I would love to see an Ezra/Sabine series. They could fight for justice as they always did, have a love story and get married and show a side story of there family life along with the challenges, but mostly have a long happy life together.

Of course. As far as the original series is concerned, I agree with what Filoni did and why he did it, demonstrating a powerful non-romantic bond between two people of each sex. I’ll be content with whatever continuation of the story happens, but I also like typing out long silly things on the internet.

Their relationship would give the galaxy a shock in post civil war era, a mando & Jedi would be great! Those two stand together against the odds look at how many Star Destroyers they’ve destroyed 😂😂😂 the chemistry is on purpose in the animation not live action.
Ezra bridger is a Jedi, but he’s is tough kid because he has a light saber but his light saber not normal then the rest of it is from the New Republic his light saber is a blaster

Hi, that was taken from the first Season 4 trailer. There is a short monologue by Hera that wasn't used anywhere in the show.
What happened with your lightsaber montages?
I changed them to unlisted videos a while ago, since I thought that no one is watching them anyway. However, if you like, I can make them public again in the future.

Waiting 10 years to see if they are in love or waiting to see them in love is a pain in the ass. The show runners should’ve just made them be together by the end of season 1 because in the first few episodes there were dozens of romantic hints and she was pretty so why not put them together? I don’t know why they made us wait 10 years for a simple answer right now its making me depressed and its very frustrating. I cant get past season 2 because its a massive plothole.

So she isn't constantly 16 throughout the show. She ages throughout the show. She is 16 in Season 1. But she ages over the seasons until she ends the show at 21 years old. Same with Ezra! He ends the show at 19 years old!
