    I think cable pull throughs should be banned in gyms. It's unhygienic and disgusting. Those ropes often end up in close contact with people's sweaty 'junk.' Then, other people end up touching those same ropes that CANNOT be washed down before use. It's just gross and unnecessary. Every time I see someone doing these in the gym, I just want to scream: STOP! RDLs with the cable can be done from the front, with the same hinge movement, and NO 'JUNK' contact. These may also be better and safer for older gym goers who have challenges with balance and stability.
