My sister had purchased an old victorian in Sacramento. Apparently homeless people were taking shelter in there before she purchased it. One night they tried to come into the house. She yelled, "We live here now!" LOL! They never came back.
Girl the only thing I kept thinking was "omg they bought a haunted house!!!" and then you mentioned the neighbors and... It just escalated to a whole haunted neighborhood 😂 stay safe don't go looking for trouble alone! When you yelled "hello?" I was so scared I thought someone would just start running out of the house...
Try never to turn the water on by yourself, someone needs to be in the house to let you know if there’s a major leak so you can turn it off quickly. A lot of damage can be done in a short amount of time with gushing water✨
I know how scary it is to have someone break into your house!! Someone broke into our new house after our FIRST night there (so our first morning). We were still home and he broke through a window in the basement. It was absolutely terrifying. I’m still working through it! But getting security cameras has made me feel a lot better. We use SimpliSafe and a SimpliSafe ad played during this video 😂 I hope you’re alright and that no further harm is done!❤️

So glad you were safe. All I could hear when you showed us your brass collection was "look at this stuff. Isn't it neat. Wouldn't you think my collection's complete." 🤣
That must be why all your taps (faucets) were turned on and left on. Maybe whoever it was wanted some water and tried all the taps?! Very freaky though, glad you're OK. Hurry and get there Romeo! Your parents are the best! Greetings from Western Australia 😊
That's what I thought, too. I don't believe anyone sheltered there, but someone saw an empty property and needed water desperately. Loved how your mother instinctively assumed it was someone seeking relief from the storm. Hope you're feeling well emotionally, and the intruder (if they genuinely just needed water) is fine as well
Well said! I'd like to think most individuals mean no one harm. Just trying to stay warm and dry. However, when confronted or startled, it's hard to predict how someone will react. Look forward to hearing if you guys called a family meeting and laid down some new ground rules for being over there. Good luck. Stay well and safe.
Just an advice : when you feel scared just don't stay in a closed area. Get outside where you can run away. I know you don't want to be scared in your own house but we don't know who was hiding in there. take care ♥

Yeah, those are definitely what I call "puncture vines" and they're the worst weed because they grow those spiky ball thorns that hurt your feet and pop your bike tires. The fact that you went from “someone broke into my house” to “look at all my brass candle holders”
Haha well it was 2 days later and don’t spook easily I was ready to attack LOL
Makenna, please don’t investigate strange noises. Go home, boo. Stay safe.
So glad you are safe but got a bit scary for a minute. Glad you are putting up security camaras. Might add lights to the back yard too. If there is a next time, get in your car and lock the doors while you wait for your Dad. Huggs lady!
exactly! you don't walk around the shed going 'hello, is anyone there?' lol
it was so scary when you heard something on the roof ( looked like a scary movie) 😟
MaCenna: I’m actually kind of scared
Me: *on the verge of a heart attack*
My sister had purchased an old victorian in Sacramento. Apparently homeless people were taking shelter in there before she purchased it. One night they tried to come into the house. She yelled, "We live here now!" LOL! They never came back.
So sad, but so scary. Good thing they left without any trouble
Sacramento CA?
@@ansleylailany2004 yes
Oh honey you all might have a spirit, it’ll probably love your energy and the fact the house is being loved again 🤗🙏🏻💕
Learning some important lessons here! Thx for sharing.
I was so scared for you walking into the back area. Glad your getting security cameras. So excited to see the progress of everything 💗
I love how your mom went straight to compassion and empathy ♥️ stay safe sweet girl.
OMG Macenna is literally the girl in every horror movie. I'm screaming at the the TV "DO NOT GO IN THERE!!!" Glad you're safe.
I’m so so thankful you are okay. Your angles were with you!
Be careful. It is kinda concerning that they put things out methodically. Did you let the police know?
I know how scary it is to have someone break into your house!! Someone broke into our new house after our FIRST night there (so our first morning). We were still home and he broke through a window in the basement. It was absolutely terrifying. I’m still working through it! But getting security cameras has made me feel a lot better. We use SimpliSafe and a SimpliSafe ad played during this video 😂 I hope you’re alright and that no further harm is done!❤️
felt like I was watching a horror movie
I was just about to post the same. So creepy
HONESTLY
Just want to say you’re a very lucky girl to have such loving & devoted parents. They drop everything and help you... love it. I enjoy your videos so much Your enthusiasm is contagious. Also I covet your dog.. K is the best !
Girl, run. Call the cops. And get Simplisafe to sponsor your property 😟😫
I don’t know why the satellite dish scared me the way it did
SAME
Hahaha omg same! 😩😩
Omg same
I jumped.
So glad you were safe. All I could hear when you showed us your brass collection was "look at this stuff. Isn't it neat. Wouldn't you think my collection's complete." 🤣
Your dad is my dad too. The best. Would literally drop whatever he’s doing for me. We’re lucky! Also, welcome to Texas! We are happy to have you 💕
That must be why all your taps (faucets) were turned on and left on. Maybe whoever it was wanted some water and tried all the taps?! Very freaky though, glad you're OK. Hurry and get there Romeo! Your parents are the best! Greetings from Western Australia 😊
Omg you might be right!!! Cause I had the water off!
I would take the water meter tool with you when you aren’t there.
That's what I thought, too. I don't believe anyone sheltered there, but someone saw an empty property and needed water desperately. Loved how your mother instinctively assumed it was someone seeking relief from the storm. Hope you're feeling well emotionally, and the intruder (if they genuinely just needed water) is fine as well
@@xomacennavlogs Yes, that could be the explanation, MaCenna. Don't go there alone if you can help it
MaCenna, it’s only sad if someone was in there and they had good intentions. Otherwise it’s important to protect your property and yourself!
I know you don't want to be scared in your own house but we don't know who was hiding in there. take care ♥
Thanks for making sure our girl MaCenna is safe and sound, Dad! #whenyourdaughtercalls #andespeciallyifshesscared #youdropeverythingandgo
Anyone else start watching this like a found footage horror movie as soon as she heard a noise?? I keep looking in the background for ghosts moving around 😂
Yeah, definitely. And you say to yourself: "don't look at her face, look at background and blind spots!" 😂
Uhhmm yes!! I too was looking in the background the whole time she was listening, while looking up...lol omg too funny!
Yes! There's was definitely a Blair Witch Project close up moment...
Totally!!! I still have anxiety from watching it lol
Me too!!
As soon as the faucet was running I would've left. You are a brave girl!
omg when you heard the door open/shut, my heart stopped 😟😟
Imagine someone was there just to find MaCenna saying "look at the pretty flowers" with a very high voice ^^
omfg hahahah
Bahahahha
Scary! 😳 Be careful out there! Maybe someone was living in the abandoned neighborhood before the houses started selling.
This was my thought too. Could have been there before you, or just came back to an old safe space to wait out the storm.
Quick side note, those "wildflowers", look like goat heads and you may want to pull those if you don't want to get burs in your new house and on the bottom of your shoes, or your little ones' paws. Stay safe ^-^
What’s burs? And why is it bad? Just curious
@@jessicafigueroa822 because they are freaking painful lol! 😃 If you Google them, you'll be able to see how knarly those things are...they are also known as "stickers" if that's a better reference (I've also heard another name before but can't remember it now). I didn't see the typical yellow flowers though, so probably different species 🤷....? Looks like new homework for me (my neighbor has those and I have to pay attention and pull the strays in my yard before they go to seed 😂😭 Eeee-ouch!). Ps...if you hear "burr clover," those are like a saint in comparison.
@@jessicafigueroa822 spinas
Yeah, those are definitely what I call "puncture vines" and they're the worst weed because they grow those spiky ball thorns that hurt your feet and pop your bike tires. Good thing she's digging up the yard anyway, because otherwise I'd say rip out the whole thing and start over, because they're going to be everywhere in such a large, ignored property.
You telling the creepy story of a possible break in and Kinsley’s in the background grunting and playing. 😆 love ❤️ it!!
HAHHA she wasss!!!!!
I love your mother. She clearly has a good heart - suggesting the person who had left stuff in your workshop was someone in need of shelter.
And maybe they were. I like her view rather than my fears.
Am looking forward to the upcoming transformations of your house!
It is scary and distressing, hopefully the person moved on and with the work you and your neighbours are doing should discourage any more of this. Love your candleholders collection, the tall twisted stems are called barley twist stems 🥰
omg you are so brave!! i would have gotten so scared with all those noises and then the stuff in the shed, i would have just sped on out of there!
Don’t feel rushed to get the house done, the enjoyment is in the process 💗
That scared me also. Yep get those cameras up. Take care, so glad your dad and mom are there in Texas with you.
I’d have been terrified especially being on your own best move call dad ! Always best however old you are thank god you ok xx
Glad you are o.k. and the house is in great shape. Congratulations on your honey coming home. I cannot wait to see you start upscaling your new home. Have fun. It is will be great! Start using positive thought meditations while you invest time in doing what you love!!!!
McCenna! Love you girl, but NOOOOOOO!!!! Call the police. If someone is taking things from other houses and placing them methodically in other places to intimidate people they are playing a scary game with all of y'all. call the police now.
THAT PART. Like, that’s not normal behaviour, that’s either someone with malicious intent or mentally unstable and neither should be taken lightly.
The joy I have watching these now!! Reaction videos to these post pregnancy might be easier to do?! And subscribers would enjoy?
your voice reminds me so much of Mandy Moore! very pretty and calming. thanks for all the great diy inspo! xoxo
Macenna I love you girl I’m feeling funky today too and I put on your vid to cheer me up and there is nothing more comforting than seeing you impulse buy a large fry from McDonald’s and talk about your frustrations like a normal human 😂 so relatable and real.
EDIT: I made this comment before watching the rest of the vid and just want to add so glad you’re safe!!
the speed of your dad dropping the call to come be there with you was too pure 🥺
I just wanted you to be safe! Glad your dad went right away! Glad you are safe AND sound! This video was super scary!
On the scary parts, I kept reminding myself that she was fine and safe since she posted this video 🙈 nerve-wracking! We love you please stay safe!
I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. Every time it got even scarier, an ad would show up lol. I'm so glad you didn't actually encounter anybody. THANK YOU JESUS!!!
This was exactly like watching a scary movie! I was saying “get out of there....go go go” hahaha
I watched this as live TV, ticking the whole time... so relieved to see you calm later. Now I need to calm my nerves by cleening something too!
Also, thanks for including instagram segment for all of us insta-non users.
Good luck on future work
Ok this actually was actually scary!!! I’m watching like “get out, get out, get outttt!!!” I’m so glad you’re ok❤️
That was scary. I'm glad that you are OK and no damage. Girl, I LOVE my brass candlestick holders. My ALL TIME favorite that I own is a pair of brass piggyback frog candlestick holders. I have battery candlesticks in them. Take care!!!!
Don’t go there alone, ever. EVER.
You are so lucky to have such caring parents!
You are so brave. But girl I would be cautious moving forward... but honestly I would search the entire house (the attic) and everything to make sure it’s clear and safe. Also, comfort is known to be a meth town so be cautious of that too.
So glad your ok and nobody was hurt. I hope the person sheltering is ok too 🙏🏻 x
House: *gets broken into
TH-camrs: this brings me to today's sponsor, Simply Safe
Macenna & mom: poor thing, they must have been freezing to death..I knew I should have left some hot chocolate and blankets out
I'm glad you're okay, and I hope whoever was there made it through the storm safely💕
I was getting nervous for you...so glad you are ok. Thanks for sharing your ‘adventures’!!!
Me the whole time: CALL SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!
Her: walking towards the noise and trying to figure stuff out instead of just running
You are just to freaking brave!! I listen to too much true crime to do any of this
Glad to hear your putting up cameras MaCenna 👍, its sad that someone is in a desperate situation like that needing to find shelter. Just be vigilent though, the methodical lining up of things reminds me of psychiatric behavior (I'm a nurse)
Praying that this person finds their own stable accommodation and that your new house will be filled with peace and joy.
God bless from New Zealand 😊
MeCenna: “HELLO??”
Me: No girl... you run. They ain’t gonna say hey back. 😱 and if they did....
Right, they arent gonna say hello back....unless it is to pinpoint where YOU are....then the NEXT "hello" would be whispered in YOUR EAR!!! GET MOVING OUTTA THERE!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That is so scary!! I’m glad you’re okay. Hopefully that person doesn’t come around ever again.
You shouldn’t go there by yourself, that was so scary!!! On another note all I could think of when you were cutting that lemon and adding salt is how good it would taste! 😂 🤍🍋🧂
Scrolled through comments to see if there was anyone else wanting to eat the lemon 🤣 yes 🤝
I never thought I’d be scared watching your vlog. So glad you’re dad was so quick to come! Be safe!
I haven’t watched yet, but how terrible!! I hope they didn’t do any damage.
Good morning from Australia.
Yes! Good morning from Melbourne!
Glad you are OK! Btw, 1 suggestion. I think it would be Nice & convenient if you include a den. The extra bedroom should be left for a future kid's room! Den is always a Must. Especially with covid now & everyone working from home... Separate space perhaps for you or your boyfriend. I would love to also see how you would style it as well!!
Girl I’m sorry this happened to you and your home! We purchased a new build and literally the day of the final inspection we went in and found out someone broke in and threw a rock in the master bedroom window. They dirtied our brand new carpet but the builder had everything damaged replaced and cleaned for us. Thankfully we haven’t had any similar issues since. We have a ring floodlight over our backyard and the doorbell so we can always see if someone approaches our home. I think maybe it was just some kids bored with nothing to do. (At least that’s what I tell myself lol)
It was either somepne who wanted house but got outbid or maybe a fired employee who was messing with builder. The fact the builder fixed it all....says well for builder, but also makes me think it was meant for him.
@@maryohare4141 I guess the ex employee thing is possible but there was no bidding involved and lots of other lots available so I don’t think that was a factor.
I love you, showing a spot of weakness when starting a healthy diet, we all do it but hide it .
