I hate parties... But you don't say no when your best friend invites you. Your best friend who leaves you alone with strangers and wanders off to talk with their other friends. There aren't even any snacks. Just booze. Well, at least I have the random passers by to keep me company for five seconds. The stairs on this porch are actually quite comfortable. Only problem is the cold early fall weather. Whatever. It's so weird to think that I wouldn't be here sitting in the rain if ten years ago I wouldn't have had the courage to talk to the weird new kid. Oh how the turntables... But no matter how many times they invite me to a party only to leave me alone I will still come every time. Because the truth is that I love them. I love them. But why? What is the re- "You coming in?" They ask from the front door. I smile and nod. This is why I love them. They notice my absence when others don't.

You know this kinda sounds like that scene from Forrest Gump where he’s waiting for Jenny In the rain and she pulls up in the car and this song is blasting
totally understandable, the rain is definitely louder in this upload. I like to try new things in case it's better and thanks to everyones input I know that it is in fact, not better haha Thank you for the critique, in future uploads i'll make the rain more ambient instead of the focus!
@@imintheotherroom3819 I don't think the problem is that it's overpowering the music as much as now it feels like you are outside the room IN the rain, which is much less pleasant than momentarily ducking out to the balcony to have a cigarette at a party/listening to your parents dancing in the next room while you're in bed supposed to be sleeping as a child/etc. Just found this channel and love it, by the way!
Tbh, I don't know why I love her, but I do, and there's nothing I can do to not love her. I guess it is time to make peace with my old foes, so will my ancestors, and to thee, rolling in thy graves upon hearing these news, I tell you to rest, your time has come. I'll try to make the best of this.
So I'm really curious how one can upload a video like this to youtube. Are there steps you have to take to get permission to use copyrighted music? I know there are platforms like Lickd but I never find the more well known artists on there. Just curious, I think it would be cool to upload a vid like that 🤷
Hi Chelsey! it's really simple, TH-cam just recognises what song i'm using and gives any ad revenue to the original producer. It's not technically allowed but the producer doesn't mind because they're making money from it anyway. Hope that helps!!
