@@coastingalongI’d say Twisted Colossus is one of the best. It’s my #4 behind Steve, IG, and AF1. I’d argue Twisted Colossus has some of the strongest ejector airtime in the world
With a rumored layout like that, Magic Mountain could have easily revived the Scenic Railway name (for roller coasters) here in the US back in the late 90s.
I wonder if at some point X2 will get so rough and painful it will become X3 and get refurbished so it’s all new S&S track and they make it even more insane and more similar to Eejanaika or Dinochonda.
I did not get any ice cream after the incredible air time(in the worst way possible, almost flying out of the ride); all I got was ptsd from it and an unbelievably true almost tragic story to tell people. I was only 16 so I didn’t know about suing yet.
Easiest way to add a bunch of air time to Goliath would be to reprofile the first turn around with a lower OUTER bank that would give nice ejector and keep more speed into the airtime hill so it's good sustained floater every time.
You know I was just thinking if cedar point wanted to build the largest coaster in the world they could build the coaster arround the entire perimeter of the park. They say there is no more room for a large coaster but going arround the park woild make it doable. They could also make some awsome interactions with other coasters. Have airtime hills line up with magnums air time hills have it make a big helix around gate keepers lift. Make it so it races other coasters. They could use the structures of the other coasters to support the track and it could butt up against the track of the other coasters. Magnums and mulleniums supports are more than dence enough to support another coaster running through them.
i can't go on rollercoasters for medical reasons (i'm not sure how legit those "reasons" are bc it's a "welll this *could* be risky? maybe don't try it idk?" type warning not a "THIS WILL 10000% KILL YOU STAY AWAY FROM ROLLERCOASTERS AT ALL COSTS!!!!4!!!4" but still scared me away) but this is making me want to go on one it sounds so funnnn😭 i just know one day i'll cave in and risk it lol i can't go my whole life on this earth never going on a rollercoaster...
SFMM: This ride will be packed with airtime! Costumer: Wheres the airtime? SFMM: About the airtime it turns out Giovanola doesn’t know how to make airtime hills and we aren’t using them anymore. Costumer says angrily: Then why did you order Titan?! SFOT: Ummmmmmmmm extra helix? Costumer says furiously: Airtime?
They could also just put the midcourse break run on the original settings. They'd essentially add a sweet coaster just by paying a ride op/mechanic to take it off ultra brunny mode and restore it to its former glory.
Nice video! For a second I thought these were recent crazy rumors where Goliath would get replaced with an Intamin:) But this would have been awesome if this was how Goliath was!
Interesting, but I have to wonder what their time actually would have been like had this been built since this manufacturer never demonstrated their ability to create notable air time. As DH Morgan's first coasters demonstrated, just because it's long and tall doesn't guarantee it's going to have amazing air time. Had this been an intamin or Arrow project (especially under the proven talent of Alan Schilke), I think we would have had one heck of a treat out of such a project, a strong offering from B&M, but I wouldn't hold my breath on this project taking into account that the original rides airtime hill is without airtime. I also wonder her how much this would have cost considering the original project was somewhere between 20 to 22 million. For a non-proven manufacturer in this segment, this was a very expensive coaster. The original DH Morgan coasters while not the greatest, had better air time and cost half as much.
How you do have “1 goal in mind” with a super ambitious project like that, only to fail at that ONE goal, which was the easiest goal to achieve!? Like, how??😭
The rumored Goliath, X2, and Twisted colossus would be the perfect top 3.
eh. remove twisted colossus. it’s the worst ibox out of the 20 i’ve done
@@coastingalongwhat, the, flip
@@LTstinkysocksMcGee420 idk it just seemed so much weaker than the other 19 i’ve done
It's still one of (or the) best roller coaster at MM

DON'T WE ALL WISH
It's already in need of that treatment
bro please 🙏😭x2 is so painful, i hit my head and arms so bad on that ride. it's always closed down too, prob cuz people get injured
Falcons Flight at home
incredible airtime?
when the f@ck did we get ice-cream?

That would have actually been so much better than the final product lol…

And just steepen the first drop by using new track lol
@@Coolsomeone234 ya drop is a zero, would say the one pro is it's not too intense for GP. But redoing that and the tunnel would cost a lot.
well, wrapping around the park is, *interesting.*

Imagine if that layout had turned out to be true. Goliath would probably be a lot better (and a lot more intense, I'd wager).

If it was made my b&m then i would possibly believe it
Instead the rumored giga coaster, they should build this masterpiece

So lesson here is that theme park journalism has always been through the floor levels of shit.
Ok, someone needs to do a NoLimits 2 recreation of this
They wanted to get Goliath off of Amazon, but in the end we got the WISH version.
I think theme park predictions made this
Maybe make a full length video and if you have any coaster games, make a coaster layout or if not, maybe draw a possible layout.
Yes, this was one idea that led to the creation of X
The only coaster I’ve walked off of with an injury. Spinal injury no less, from that first drop. I’ll be happy never to ride Goliath again
