there is actually a third bombable door in the citadel which i believe has a relic behind it, it's around the same area as the first one you showed but on the other side of the bridge
The only thing I didn’t like about the Citadel at first was the spiribirds, since I like getting those buffs and it was weird figuring out a route that wasn’t too long
Not a huge secret, but a handy thing to note is you can pick up three attack spiribirds all at once in the tunnel north-west from the subcamp. I always do that before the hunt.
fun story, as I was compleating the map, and was missing that last Wirebug, I was roaming trying to find where it would be accesed from, since I had found the secret room at the bottom I assumed it was the same, so I unfortunatly got the atention of a monster near the bridge and he slapped me down there, and thats how I found the sewears acces
The Gargolda is just a cool spoonbill bird. The Japanese love their spoonbills. haha. I also like how wide the map is with different environments. Such a fun place to hide secrets and explore.
Is the Gargolda really inspired by a Shoebill? It doesn't look anything like one to me and is inspired by a Gargoyle right? Although I can see shoebill features in its design, it's definitely a Gargoyle
I found the Gorgolda naturally. I’m all about that hardcore parkour, so I immediately went after the highest spots in the Jungle and Citadel the first expeditions I could start. It was nighttime when I got around to climbing that particular area, so imagine my surprise when I noticed that dark eagle just chilling there and staring at me, completely unfazed that I just dropped right into his crib. I’m not an idiot, so I took a picture, and nabbed a rare endemic life entry for my journal. I can’t wait for that Lucent Narga arena, and I am gonna climb the Hell out of that tower!
I'll be very surprised if they make the tower climable in the forlorn arena. It's very far away and the map consists of 1 area. The only way you'd be able to climbe the tower is if they add back the entire Tower map which lets you go right to the summit. The tower and forlorn arena are two different zones and not exactly connected
@Dd gamer I know your first comment was probably satirical and amped up the effect this comment gave off with the "not an idiot" comment, but it makes ya come off as a bit combative for no reason. A better way to go about it would have been to calmly voice how you thought dude was condescending with that statement (I agree, at least a bit, even if it wasn't meant that way), and then said there's an easier way to do it than doing *parkour*. I know it doesn't seem like much, but if you approach stuff you disagree with with a little bit of empathy and understanding that not everything is necessarily meant how it sounds, it WILL make your day significantly better.
For what it's worth, you can use small or regular barrel bombs to blow up the doors - you don't need megas. Same goes for a few other destructibles on the map, including the tower in area 4, etc.
Also the tower in area 4, if you ram a monster into it, there are about 3 spiribirds hiding in there as you get two shiny drops which are random items.
I miss rare locations actually having a purpose other than 2 mining nodes. I remember in mh tri deviljho would open a secret location where you could gater a lot of rare materials.
I've looked on multiple sites looking for the scale lizard locations on the Citadel map. One of them is in the hidden room down the well in area 3 but I cannot find the other one.
@ArekkzGaming is the Rajang armor your wearing a Mod? Rajang and Furious Rajang (or whichever shoulders those are) doesn't have hovering flaming swords that I have seen. If it is a mod, which one? If it is just armor, which armor?
Thanks! Definitely missed the endemic life and the citadel castle secrets. Also, were you trying to get a better picture of the hidden endemic by blowing it up? Lol
Gargolda, the tower destroyed in the back looks like the one in freedom unite, where you fight toma, maybe future toma or silver los and gold rathian🤔🤔
@@jamieburn4577 yea I had forgotten about Lucent narga and the first update I saw that amd I was like hugh, then it all came full circle, thanks tho for clearing it up my guy

I still don't know what those big bugs on the wall are for. (Those that come in set of five in a star formation and they are scattered everywhere in every map)
You can hit them with different elements to change the element that they are and when your wyvern riding you can slam a monster and tell them for big damage
I think this is an unpopular opinion but i do genuinely like Rise's map more than World's. Idk, it's not as graphically advanced in terms of foliage and terrain sure, but there's so much nook and cranny to explore. I love it, especially citadel has this darksouls vibe to it
I think both have some great maps and so ok ones. Honestly the 2 new maps are probably the best in Rise, especially the Citadel! I do really miss the Coral Highlands though. I was gutted that we got to fight Narwa in a similarly themed arena, but that was it! Hopefully it's coming in a later update

I thought it was pretty obvious since there's a little area on the top right, and people are probably curious on what's over there.
