@@kopeteevans6299 personally, i was 100% convinced that you spoke a Celtic language in the video 😳....Burmese was maybe on the bottom two of the list of languages that i expected you to be speaking😂
I’ll send them some tissues. Although it’s a French company, in English we don’t say it the same way. It’s like when French people say British brands, they don’t say them exactly how we say them. But we do our best to sound similar.
@@kopeteevans6299 funny then you tried, at least tried to imitate the French pronunciation of Yves Saint Laurent? And the way Italians pronounce Versace? What’s ur standard and objective then?
@@kopeteevans6299 sorry, didn’t mean to be rude. As someone who speaks English, French and a lil bit Italian, I think you did good with most of the brand pronunciation except the Hermès one. Peace ✌️
Well, that’s simple for Italian speakers, but lots of English language learners aren’t sure how to pronounce the double ‘c’. For example, in English it could be goosey or gucky. So, I thought this vid could help them.
You need to pronounce the R in Versace, and the last E is not a diphthong, where you're going Veh-Sah-Chay. It's VER - SAH - CHE. The I in Givenchy is also wrong. It should be more of an EE sound.
Like I’ve written a few times, in English, we don’t pronounce all these words exactly how they sound in their mother tongue. It’s the same as when Italians say British or American brands.
Where’s your comment that I pronounced a word wrong that wasn’t even in the video? Did you delete it because you realized you were completely wrong? 😂 And you’re now resorting to being rude which is typical of keyboard warriors who have lonely lives and crave any form of attention. Shouldn’t give people lessons on how to pronounce words when you pronounce them incorrectly. May want to study Versace more…. just sayin’ 🤷♀️
If you’re talking about exactly how Italians pronounce it, then of course not. But in standard English, the pronunciations in the video are correct.
