    Well you seem like a nice guy. I watched a video of you working on evaporator blower motor that came on then off then on. you checked voltage in real time and under load. You made the right diagnosis that the motor was bad but wasn't sure why it was acting that way. The problem with the motor is that it has a weak thermal overload and that's why it would start up and then kick off over and over

    I wonder, could the bad capacitor cause the old corroded flag terminal wire to finally burn off due to the extra current draw?

    • @Garth2011
      @Garth2011 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd say a slowly failing cap would put added heat into the wiring diagram !

    How is the new truck been.

  • @Garth2011
    @Garth2011 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Agreed, those flag terminal crimpers would make the wiring go way faster and uniform in the crimp. I'd have to agree, a young tech would look under the hood of that condenser and say, this place needs a change out. I disagree, if the thing worked last week and stopped, there's obviously something that needs repaired to get it up again. (most of the time). Tell the customer the system is getting old and they should consider newer equipment when they are ready. Most of the old stuff was built to last so much of them are worth keeping and fixing, to a limit.

      Bristol went bankrupt in 2018 and sold to a foreign company. The older 90s compressors were definitely louder then the newer models. Unfortunately the Copeland Scroll did Bristol’s recipes in.
