Well I just watched this documentary below and I heard lots of Russian accents similar to this funny impersonation. I find the Russian accent as mysterious. Russians are often stereotyped as being related to the KGB, a spy, or the Russian Mafia, so this is why people tend to be nervous and cautious around Russians, and nobody will mess with them. Though non-Russian, I find this little funny and hugely inaccurate as most Russians in my experience speak perfectly clear and elegant English than here protrayed (perhaps purposefully) beside their mothertongue, at least in my opinion way better than the constant, devouring & screamisch tongue-rolling in US English, quite unnecessary, affectatious and ungraceful, perhaps other than that Americans themselves are so stereotypically, how would you say, "manipulatable"... :) :)
he spoke the english words pretty much perfectly. He's not saying their elegance is any different. He's saying the ACCENT is different. Just like any other accent in the world. I know plenty of russians that sound just like this guy. It's just changing the dialect from American to Russian. no big deal. If anyone manipulates an accent, it would be Arnold's.
