Yes! Finally!
Glad we didn't have to wait for December for this video!
Right?! Can't believe Summit came through like this!
I have a LS 5.3 ready to swap on my Chevy 94 But I'm not sure if it's a good idea to keep the original transmission or use something different, what do you recommend?
I'd at least get it rebuilt if you care about running the truck for a while. Thanks for watching!
So I have based my engine off of your parts list from summit. Using same rockers pushrods and cam with a little more duration than yours because its not available now. My heads have not been milled factor deck. My question did the pushrods have plenty of clearance on your engine?
Thanks for the videos
Yeah mine was totally fine however I had to get taller valve covers to clear the rocker arms but that was due to the rocker arms not the push rods. Thanks for watching!
You know you dont get an accurate torque reading using an extention. The longest one you should use is 1".
Really splitting hairs if you ask me. Thanks for watching!
Question, I don’t know who to ask but I figured you know might know your stuff so I have a 1975 Chevy G 20 van it came with a 5.7 V8 I wanna truck it get rid of it and throw in a Chevy 250 V6 4.1 I’m trying to get better gas mileage not too crazy about power. Will it work with my transmission that I already have in it? It’s a 350.
The straight six Chevy 250 has the same bolt pattern as a small block and will bolt up. Thanks for watching!
I'm here from the ls swap junk to hunk
You're in the right place! Thanks for watching!
What about the transmission bolt hole at the top? If i have a 4l60 that doesn’t have that will it still work with my 5.3?
Yep! Thanks for watching!
What size bolts did you use to marry the motor & trans? There were (5)..thanks
Try these amzn.to/3oboP0W Thanks for watching!
