i like the ideas they've used for this dock, but what's the capacity of the custom controller batteries? how easy are replacements to procure? what if Prism discontinue them? that part of the dock would become useless.
No go if you use certain 3rd party mask replacements or controller straps.
Yeah unfortunately that's the case with most charging docks 😖
Do the charging pins make proper contact while the AMVR or the KIWI facial interface are attached to the Quest 3?
Great video Don! This looks good, but I wish they would have added some straps to the controller covers. Maybe some soft straps like Meta's.

Will the dock charge the battery strap along with the oculus?
possibly... the dock connects to the pogo pins so if they can pass power through the USB-C and the strap can charge that way it should work but I have not tested this.. just a theory.
Any reason the light is green all the time when the Q3 is charging?
weird.. Mine is orange until it is fully charged.
@@vrgamerdude now mine goes to green with my controllers but the won’t charge past 90%
