This album is a true revelation! Abigor never lost their path and still delivers one of the most remarkable and unique Black metal out there.
Yeah, the comments about the first 3 or 4 albums being insurmountable are annoying. Are some people deaf to ingenuity? I've never thought to myself 'sure sucks that Abigor is boring now." There is never a mis-step from these guys. Time is the Sulpher... is horrifying in parts. Both Channelings are fantastisht. Who else can do a remake of a perfect album and come up with another perfect album? Hail Abigor, any incarnation of it

Well I wasn't a little kid when I first heard them it was around 96' I was 26 but 25 years ago nonetheless
It took me some years to finally get my hands on ABIGOR material, but I was aware of them since I was a teenager in the 90s. No TH-cam or Discogs back then!
They Always expanded the "genre". Like Emperor, they are truly creative and make the atmosphere unique.

P.K., T.T. and Silenius and undeniably Abigor in its true form: P.K. and T.T. with their unique guitar and drum layerings, and Silenius with his orchestrations and vocals, all make a unique atmosphere of sonic lightning that they time and again manage to capture in a bottle so effortlessly. It's astonishing.

This album is a culmination and the pinnacle of this last Abigog era (Leytmotif Luzifer (The 7 Temptations of Man), Höllenzwang (Chronicles of Perdition), Totschläger (A Saintslayer's Songbook)) What an album! AMAZING!
The sheer Technicality and Dynamics Abigor Brings separate them from Most bands. It's like a Soundtrack to a Dark Spacial Dimension beyond mortal comprehension

Silenius is for me a member of the band. Without him its just Abigor on 66,6 % Beautiful number but it is not solid.
I love this band from their demo days but I never really expected to release such a masterpiece in 2020....
Thankfully reminds alot of their oldest glorious supreme stuff!!!🤘

Here we go, this is more of ABIGOR🤘Musically/structurally much more digestible than previous chaotic full-length, though still frantic & hateful (no compromise) + at the same time quite "aristocratic" - pretty much in the vein of "Leytmotif Luzifer" & "Supreme Immortal Art" with fine neo-classical elements here and there + extra-terrestrial/demonic vocals (hats off to Maestro Silenius!)... SUPREME LUCIFERIAN METAL ART at its best!!!

Thomas is one hell of a drummer
Arguably the most underrated in the genre. Just wish his drums were a little higher in the mix here. This album with the Opus 4 (first half) drum sound would be just perfect.
Best drum sound was on Fractal and Time imo..
They actually use a drum machine just like Deathspell Omega, they have done so through all of their discography

Fantastic release, their best for years! feels so much more inspired than the last album, and a more rounded mixture of their discography, so good to see Silenius still with the band too, man is a beast. (Also will we ever see the older albums repressed on vinyl so I don’t have to sell my house..)
