This video is the reason i got interested in blues, back in the first covid lock down.... started playing haven't stopped.
why do you make this look so easy, amazing guitar playing.
Every time I watch this guy from the first camera angle without knowing the channel, I’m like this girls going in. Then it pans out and I’m like wait.
That's what I call guitar playing extraordinaire.
Justin has a way of transporting you into a different dimension. I can listen to him play all day long
BB the King once said "It's hard to bend them 'coustic strings."
You just have to develop the kung fu grip. I bend mine up all the time
He also said to Stevie Ray Vaughn (and rightly so)... You pretty good, but if you listen to the king, you can be really good.
Does it for me too! I like the birds on the fret board and the sound, very laid back.
Thanks justin. Thanks. Beer, whiskey or a cold homemade sweet tea would be perfect when listening to this. Love it bro. Keep'er goin.
🤜🤛
Thank You J.J. Nobody does it like YOU
I always go back to the heart of it all and you have expressed the heart and soul of it ...Bless you eternity I feel you ...thank YOU
I'm actually working from home right this minute, and that was the most pleasant 11 minutes of my day, thank you, that was awesome 😀.
I REALLY love and adore his playing, seems so simple but is damn top of the blues scene
Absolutely beautiful, you are truly gifted, you have a calming effect 😊 and a very pleasing demeanor as you play with seemingly effortless precision. Thankyou for making me get back into my piano 🎹, your amazing.
Watching and hearing some JJ each day has really lifted my spirits and guitar play.
Hello from Germany. You keep bringing me down after a hard day's work.
Justin Johnston is, without a doubt, a MASTER of the blues guitar!!!’n
that is a BEAUTIFUL guitar, and such great relaxed playing. Love this.
Man, those cicadas in the background add so much to the overall vibe and listening experience.
I would love to hear Lightning Hopkins do some singing to this..your playing here would fit him perfect..amazing Justin🔥🎶🔥🎶
Beautiful Blues to Relax and forget please play more like this.
Damn that's some smooth stuff to my ears. Justin Johnson, always great to hear you play. This one in particular id like to learn.
This man never ceases to amaze me.
The cicadas just make the music better, they add a background that’s just unreal
Amazing how tuning down a 1/2 step can give it such a nice rich sound for blues
This clip, and a bottle of Tito's vodka over ice. And as far as you know, the rest of the world is far away. Relaxed as hell
TITOS!! LOVE
I could watch and listen to a 100 times and NEVER get tired of it! What a privilege FOR FREE!!!!!!! (With a THUMBS UP every time)
Who would leave a dislike?? I learned to pick from just one of your vids man!
This song an Blues Guitar Meditation help me get the day going. Thank you sir
Awesome as always, Justin. Love your pure childlike enthusiasm when reviewing a new guitar...be it a CBG or a $16K French high tech custom. Thanks for sharing your love of music with us...no matter from which instrument it emanates. You are the pandemic quarantine antidote! 🎩
Thanks for watching and for the comment. I appreciate ya!
It's awesome you also provide the tabs. I have bought too already: Blackwood Lullaby (very difficult for me, I have months of work, working everyday on it.) and the Case of Gone (Can't say more easy). Those things don't work if you don't put the right feeling, so the vid is a must to understand how it works. Once I will play those 2 correctly, at LOOKING AS RELAX AS YOU ;-), I'll be a better guitarist.
Long life to blues, this is music. Thanks to be such a great inspiration for so many people following your channel.
Only been playin a lil under a year and always felt more comfy with my finger picking dynamics over my aggressive flat picking playin this makes me never wanna play with a pick again lol
There's never any harm in doing both so you can use whatever the occasion calls for, I'd recommend checking out Chris bucks technique for a bit of inspiration
"Ciao"from lucca, italy...... you are actually one of the best guitar player in the world for me , your music is really fantastic ......
What the hell, why doesn’t this guy have more subscribers? His playing is perfect! Keep up the good work 👏🏼
Spread the word!!!!
It's because blues aren't made for everyone only those who are broken can really feel the depth of it ...
Since watching and listening to you my love for the guitar is back. Thank you for what you do, you are the best!
Love the all natural "rhythm section"
Oh hell yeah. I'm escaping. Just worked my first 40 hour week in years. I'm chilling with a smoke and these blues. Life is great! Love this!!!
Wow is all I can say I honestly don’t know the first thing about playing a guitar but man this dude makes me want to to learn how
U need at least 3h per day for 4 years to play at ease like him
You just made my day seeing you play is like seeing my son again...do you ever sell these music videos...I would love to have them to enjoy when I'm off line...God's love, Mary
