  • A lot of times when you're somewhat new to guitar, it's hard to play along with anyone else or a jam track, but you still want to play.
So in this video you'll see a couple of ways that you might want to approach playing by yourself and making up a blues that actually sounds like music and is fun for you.
For more about Jamming The Blues Alone on your guitar, check out the full course here:

This is all I've ever wanted to do on guitar. Learn as I'm exploring what my soul needs to say through the guitar. Everyone else already said what they needed to in their songs. I wish to chill and speak my own sorrow through the blues. I really appreciate this!

I’ve been playing since I was 10 years old currently 17 almost 18. My dad taught me how to play. I’ve always been really good at it and knowing how to do all the bends and taps and arpeggios whatever...but there’s something I never did really learn at the beginning and that was blues! I’ve always been pretty shy about playing blues and solo with some backing tracks or whatever like soloing by myself. My brain almost shuts down and I get confused as In, idk what notes to play and put together. Holy shit...it’s starting to click, everything my dad has tried to tell me is starting to click....IT DOESNT ENTIRELY MATTER (It does but anyways) ABOUT NOTES ITS WHAT YOU FEEL AND TRUSTING YOURSELF AND HEARING THE MUSIC KNOWING WHAT KEY YOURE IN AMD SO ON AND SO FORTH. Thanks you helped my brain click

notice band members never stand still? try nodding your head while you're doing it. keep the same pace with the nod.... bit like tapping the finger on the table for every second on the clock, only without the tap. that'll help you out a bit. then it becomes more about experience. the reason professionals are dancing around is more about them keeping their own time, as they can't always rely on the drums. sometimes that section doesn't have the drums lol.
