I disagree. That pants combination , top and also bleizer was horrible, maybe good to go to run errands in the village shop. Nothing for a wedding, just a tired boring office attire.
It depends on the wedding. In the end I chose that one and was a good call. The bride didn't have a wedding dress and anything else would have been inappropriate for the wedding. Sometimes it's better being boring and not outshine who should be the real centre of attention.
