CHEVEROLET CLUTCH REPLACMENT . REPAIR part 1.

@hp11208 i just removed the one drive shaft. i would align the gear box, or tranmission. with the drive shaft, while pushing the box back on to the engine., saves a bit of time.

@foxdmulder no i just look at the clutch disc, at the three spaces on the preasure plate, and leave all three even, that way the disc will be dead centre. i never ever used the centering tool. and i keep a wee tub of grease there, use very little grease, incase it gets on to the new plate.

@hp11208 aye u can align the box to the engine then push the drive shaft in by hand until u feel it bite on to the splines, then shake the daylights, and push the box on to the engine at he same time
, and the drive will slip in, and job done, two birds with one stone.+

@Liamautomechanic Okay you turn the crank pulley bolt so the other side slips right in that how i do it?

Do they not throw in a little centering shaft any more in the kits or even a little sashet of grease
