The intention was to repair the engine in the most cost effective and future proof way we could for the customer. It’s currently running REVO Stage 2: circa 420-440ps, but the option to go further is certainly there! Thanks for the question and for watching 🙏
Not bad considering the upgraded performance and capabilities. To bad it seems it wasn't taken care of initaly, so many bits needed to be replaced. Still, those bits are the smaller part of this bill especially considering the dealer stepped up and matched the cost the warranty covered. The owner made out pretty well all things considered. Your working with them definitely saved them some cash, and they ended up spending less overall than many folks would just to upgrade to this performance level and what it is now capable of, even without suffering the issues of neglect.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm a huge fan of this MK3 RS build! I would love to see more MK 3 RS content! Thanks for entertaining hahaha
such a shame for the owner, the car must stand him in around £40k now and these aren't going up in value unlike the MK2, and having had the car such a short time prior to the failure must be heart breaking for them It's great that you are happy to share the costs involved along with any modifications that would be recommended for the specific package.
Hopefully the owner has a reliable car, and is able to use the performance when he wants... Have loved the look of the car, still do, but could not buy one with the spectre of an imploding engine. Great work guys, have really liked the series, it's a shame the Ford engineers could not have made a more stable platform to begin with. You guys are fixing their problem!
In this car it’s a used unit, already bedded in... Otherwise we would have completed a minimum of 250 miles and had the customer complete another 700 before a final oil change. Thankfully this ones done and ready for him. Thanks for the comment and for watching 💙
Heavy hit for the guy that just bought it but at least it’s better than new now, reliable and nice power gains now! He’ll feel more at easy hitting the loud pedal 😄, look forward to the next in this series? Ps just pre-ordered my green and cherry Waldo T’s 👍🏼
We’ve just had the proofs for the Tees and seen a photo of the samples... They look awesome quality again from the supplier who is now also doing the Hoodies for us too! Thanks for the support Ryan 💙
Big hit for the customer. As I expected a close to 15k bill all included after labour well close as makes much difference when spending that much money anyway. Such a shame for the customer. Especially in these challenging times. I’m sure the customer will soon be smiling again though, I have had Revo software on some of my VAG group cars and it was epic, literally night and day difference!. If he allows it would be great to see his face light up on a first drive after getting his pride and joy back. (I say pride and joy, as no one drops that kinda cash if it ain’t!)
Epic amount any day of the week when you are not expecting it; especially not long after purchasing. Thank you for watching and the positivity. Great to hear that you enjoy the REVO Software yourself too! Take care and stay safe 🙏
Avid watcher especially as I own a Blue Edition. Any ideas why this engine failed, as I posted a vid from US about weak blocks, but didn’t hear your opinion or whether this was the reason. I’d like to know if this is an inherent production issue if I need to get work done before mine goes bang. It’s currently stock. And my warranty ends in May so would appreciate advice.
Get in touch via FB, or Insta, we find it easier to respond there and keep track. Apologies for not responding 💙 Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment; we do appreciate it
We don’t think that a closed deck would support the liners in any way as to stop any common issue. Especially in the case of a 2.0L Block conversion. Thank you for taking the time to comment and hope you continue to enjoy the content 🙏
Absolutely Brilliant video and content Guys 💯% Keep up the great work 👍. Cannot begin to imagine how the owner of that re-built RS is feeling about the imminent return of his Dream Machine especially after you guys working your Amazing Magic 👍. Looking forward to seeing the ear to ear grin on that lucky persons face.😁👍.
I had one of these British Gas vans pull up near me at the lights today......lots of revving and popping.....not sure if he realised i was sat in a Nardo Grey Audi RS? It’s sounded shite, and i ignored him, do i win a prize? 😃👍🏻
Nope; we enjoy the banter and most people who are here do too! So we welcome you with open arms and can only thank you for buying the most commonly copied colour in the Audi Range 😉 Joking aside we love an Audi and have a soft spot for a Gas Man 🙌
This isn’t the bill we presented to the customer; that remains private. What I can confirm is he saved money overall on what he was quoted for a stock replacement elsewhere. Overall he has, at least, gained some power after all the work 🙌 Thanks for watching and the comment 🙏
Holy faaaaaaaaaaak 🤣🤣. I would genuinely have died from heart failure way before now anyways lol. I get these cars are good looking from 2 angles and I get there expensive piles of poop stock but around 14k minus the miniscule warranty pay out that's still over 13k .... I'd have broke the fukr if it was going to bite me that hard. Poor lad buuut he must be loaded lol so fair play to that bow very expensive RS lol.
You could of just claimed the insurance and got another car. I love cars and admit that i've wasted some amount of money on them when I was younger. Usually in my experience once major stuff starts going wrong your better just accepting you bought a lemon and moving on.
@@Cookatron he had some warranty and dealer input in terms of payment. The option to claim on insurance against a damaged engine isn’t there in the UK 🇬🇧 So he had no choice. Thanks for the input and hope you continue to enjoy the content 💙

Hey Darren, would you be able to fit a mk2 RS engine and running gear to a non RS/ST focus mk2.5 zs?
@@R118GSiVVC why not, everything is possible 🙌

Looking forward to seeing you guys next week for my revo stage 2 software upgrade for my ST , best place to go for your ST or RS needs 👌
i very much enjoyed watching this guys my RS only done 1400 miles so i hope the length of time i have it i wont have any issues fingers crossed !
Many have had totally trouble free motoring so hopefully this will be what you have!
Thanks for watching and for the support 💯
Need to hear it running
Next video 👍
Very nice car :). Can you tell me where you ordered the stickers for the bonnet and side? Greetings from Germany.
Take a look at DMB Graphics; not sure where the owner purchase but they can likely assist.

Ford should have used the ST engine as a base tbh. Don’t know what they were playing at with the thing in the RS.
Hope you upgraded those synchros in the trans with that upgraded clutch. That car will be back sooner then later.
How’s the guy getting on with the new engine?
Do you not think the open deck design will always be a weaker engine ?
Great job on this RS though hope the owner has many trouble free miles
