    Almond Macaroons are a perfect dessert for the Festive Season lunches and dinners, as well as the perfect dessert to accompany a nice cup of tea or coffee at the end of a party. This is a Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free dessert, yet rich in flavour and super easy to make.

    Very nice .
    We have this cookie in libya almost the same ingredients , but I do believe your method is much easier, and encouraging to try.
    Also insted of almonds we use coconut flour.
    Can I ask about your blender. What brand please ?if I can ask.
    Thanks alot

      Thank you! 😊 What are the Libyan Cookies called? I will be happy to look them up.
      I am using a Kenwood food processor, and I love it. 😁

      Thanks for your comments with regard almond macaroons. I will try for a stiffer mix, also in common with yourself reduce the sugar, and I will blanche and peel the almonds so they present as white/toasted; without the bitterness of the skins. Again thank you for your comment.

    I tried these many times but always bad results. Taste wise they are perfect. I can pipe them, and place them far away from each other. but somehow they always loose their shape and most of the time they get stuck to each other. Do you think you may know why, please?

      Hi Ray, are you following the exact same recipe? This is because baking is an exact science and changing a few ingredients will change the whole outcome. Please make sure to use Caster Sugar and not any other alternative such as Granulated Sugar or Powdered/Icing Sugar.

      Great tip! Some versions of this Macaroon use blanched almonds, so that would be great! However, please be careful with reducing sugar, this will change the whole structure. Please stay connected to our channel. 😊

      @@EatCraftedFoods Thanks for the tip, I'm kinda spooked by anything that includes large amounts of sugar, I'm almost 80; I'm not diabetic, but my father died from complications of diabetes; hence a degree of caution., Again thanks for the tip :)

    What is the reason you pipe them on one parchments and two rice papers?

    • @EatCraftedFoods
      @EatCraftedFoods  ปีที่แล้ว

      Rice paper will absorb the moisture at the base of the Macaroons, whilst parchment paper will avoid sticking to the baking sheet.

    Can I make them bigger

    • @EatCraftedFoods
      @EatCraftedFoods  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can, but please flatten them a bit before baking. Do not over do it, otherwise they wont bake in the middle.
