Whew, what started off as a cute lil’ “Tracing Your Boyfriend’s Tattoos” idea slowly grew into this garbled, emotional mess of a story. I’m an absolute sucker for characters that speak more with the words that they don’t say, and you’ll get a whole load of that in this one. Woo! I hope you all enjoy! 🖤

In my head I read all of that screaming but the snickerdoodle part lol. It was like “*scream* *scream* snickerdoodle *scream* scream*
WE NEED A PART 2 OF THIS!! just imagine, 1 year later, we broke up and suddenly we meet up with Nora in the same bar, we made a tattoo about something he said when we first met and special point if we're using his jacket (the song "Hoodie" comes to my mind immediately: "i kept the broken ziper and the cigarette burns, im still rocking your hoodie baby, even tho it hurts"), it would be angst too, we going out of the bar, kinda tipsy, not drunk, and talking (kinda screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain and its 2am and im cursing your name) about how sad we were during that year, when he left without even warning us and not responded any of our messages, it starts to rain and he wants to take us back to the bar and we refuses until he finally tells us why did he do that, why did he leave us, why did he never call us and why he went away "like a coward" after telling us that he liked us. Things like "That was a fight that i would never win", "Yes, i was a coward, you can say that, but i could never stay here and betray you! [...] Yes! Betray your happiness, betray your dreams? You could never be happy by my side and you know that! Just... Please lets go inside. Please." typa thing.
Us throwing his jacket at him and saying that the only thing it was doing was paining us, making us remember him, saying that we wish we never met Nora (only out of anger) and right after start crying because we didnt mean it and we saw how much that hurt him (because you went speechless). REMEMBER THE TATTOO? He will come comfort us and see the tattoo and immediately ask if it was what he thought it was, we would collapse and tell him EVERYTHING that happened from the day that we met him, proving we remember everything and always liked him.
The final part is that when we're finally inside, kinda sobered up, his phone rings... he answers: "Hey pumpkin"... And the rest is story 😭

I started crying when I realized who his best friend was and how broken he sounded when they (Felix and the listener's boyfriend (his bsf :')❤️🩹) talked at the last scene, the way he immediately started smoking after they left, the I love you part too oh my😭😭😭 This one really broke my heart omg
Alright I have so many thoughts on this it will be a whole essay. First of all, I am not trusting the light angst talk ever ever again. This hurt so good, you have to appreciate it. Not only is it unrequited love, it is also with his best friend? Like that is emotional damage. The whole yearning thing, the tension between them I can just tell they both wanted to be with each other but it was the wrong time. And him admitting he kinda lost feelings?? No way. He was just saying that. Also, I can't help but lowkey connect it in my head with delinquent and that makes it even more painful. Him just leaving in the end, makes me theorise that he didn't want to ruin the relationship we had because he would want to pursue something
Fujonah such a green flag and Fuyuki played the part amazingly well. And you too Nora the emotions portrayed in this character were so raw and it felt real with your voice. The sfx were on point and I looooved the song in the beginning.

Yeah... my angst radar tends to be way off. That's on me, haha 🤍 And my gosh, you connecting it to our delinquent boy is inflicting more self-damage -- that's rough! I didn't make the connection myself, but I can see how some parts of one character meld to the other. And yes!! Fujonah is the truest green flag. It was such a pleasure writing his character in direct contrast to Felix, who's so much more volatile and hard to read in my opinion.

nora i swear every character of yours has such depth! all the details in the tattoos, the swell of emotion in every pause or hesitation, the written dialogue vs the meanings behind the words and what they mean to the character all conveyed so perfectly!! adjacent to that, i adored the ambience of the shop while we relived the memory with him, too. every little detail and ounce of extra effort you put into your audios makes them 1000x better in my opinion and i really strive to build characters and relationships the way you do! All that being said, keep up the extraordinary work for more quality content

I need another episode!!! Loved the combination of both VAs. There needs to be a scene with them that the listener walks in on or overhears.
I could imagine the listener looking back while walking away as Felix stood in the alley. There has to be another friend the listener could confide in. (An idea for another story) I felt the angst, the pain and the in-between. I could imagine the listener's face during the whole "I love you" power play Jonah was doing. Every time he said "dear" I felt the daggers being thrown at Felix. I believe that frog is a symbol that only Felix knows represents the listener. This brought up memories for me, except the words were spoken and the listener was the one who ran.

OH MY GOD IM SHOOK RN. THE COINCIDENCE IS SURREAL. Its been a year since i have started listening to Nora ASMR and i could not find anybody other than Nora who could grab my attention but a month ago i found fuyuki's channel and had absolutely loved it. For a month straight I had been listening to either Nora or Fuyuki AND NOW THIS COLLAB!!!!??? im sooo happyyyyy couldnt even ask for anything else.
What a combination of talents for the 50th audio special! The tension, slight angst, and mutual pining but eventually without the “mutual”…I gladly eat that up every time!! When a character is held by a longing so strong, has too tight of a grip to the point that there’s more slip, it is just *chef’s kiss*. You were so intentional with the details as well-the immersion and sense of space is unreal!

⚠️ *VIDEO SPOILERS AND REACTIONS DOWN BELOW, READ W CAUTION!* ⚠️
My chest started to feel really tight as the video went on. The angst is too real with this one. I rewatched this after part 2 came out and it felt even sadder than the first time around.
I wonder if everything would have been different if Felix had just told us how he felt back then.
It really felt like the wind got knocked out of me when Felix said he didn’t have those feelings for us anymore. Especially since we initially seemed hopeful from his confession prior.
36:46 when Jonah noticed we were wearing Felix’s jacket instead of taking his, i felt my heart drop to my stomach
37:48 listening to this part again after watching the part 2 made me realize that Felix’s parting gift held a deeper meaning. It hit so much harder after listening to part 2 😢 He’s really trying to end this chapter of his life, albeit, in a very frustrating and emotionally confusing way, but i think he’s truly doing what he thinks is best for everyone involved in this situation. Maybe this will help him turn a new leaf and find some closure. Nora, your writing and your performance of your work is truly astounding. Both you and Fuyuki together made me feel a range of different emotions - longing, disappointment, hope, frustration, and so much more. It really felt like i was right there in the thick of it all. I think you truly have a gift for writing and storytelling. All the slight changes in pacing, tone, word emphasis, and inflection really brought the characters to life and increased the drama and tension. The music and audio editing also pulled everything together to make it so immersive. You both did such an amazing job. I’m so glad that i came across your channel. Sorry for such a long comment, I couldn’t help it haha. Can’t wait to see more in the future :)
