- HUGE 3D Printed Thanos Statue - 3D Resin Printing
This huge Thanos statue was printed on my Saturn 2 and Peopoly L and is just amazing. The detail that Wicked 3D puts into his work is fantastic and this 3D printed statue look awesome on my desk. It's probably my favorite 3D statute I have printed and painted.
I used a number of painting techniques to get this effect using acrylics including dry brushing and stippling. It was a really fun project.

End result looks awesome, You have gaps and have to sand because you don't have your settings dialed in, (or possibly not enough support). Looks like over exposure. I'd recommend cones of calibration.
This is fantastic. I just finished printing my Thanos. This gives me more confidence to try paint mine (would be first time) and not just leave it bare like I normally would.
Love the originals a lot more than the new iterations.

Fantastic video: don't know why I discovered you channel just now! Love the fact that you point out out to prep properly the model after the print ( I do have a lot of issue with pins and warping parts not fitting together, especially from Wicked ) So thanks a lot! And I subscribed!
Thanks! Yeah, tolerances and printing isn't perfect. I model as well and build that in, but depending on your printer sometimes things end up not fitting perfectly. So get out the files, sandpaper and clippers and make them. :)
